Interesting concept. And all that sunshine, birds, just a relaxing walk while pick up some of this some of that and craft something, more loot and go to discover new stuff on other islands. A quite relaxing game. Very nicely done with the lighting. I could enjoy a little bit more of this

Hmm... this one is a bit different, just enough to want to see more of it. I like the game's concept and the resource respawn rate is pretty sweet. Good vid Mon.

textures look good and lighting seems nice as well, all thats missing is snow and its my perfect place

Are there spiders & if so can they be turned off? Can fishing be accessed early game? What are the fishing options like rods, traps etc.?
As far as I am aware, no spiders when I played only the red and blue crabs. I know there are wasps. I'm unsure about the fishing mechanic. I think it may be spear fishing. Have a great one🙂
@@MonEvenStar thank you! I saw in the videos on Steam there was a building being built. Does this mean we can build homes in other areas, like that body of water that was also in the video?
Kinda reminds me of the game "Hold Your Own"(HYO) which was made in unreal engine 4 with pretty much same graphics and assets.
HYO did however have a gigantic map with loads of features... Towns, enemies, predators, islands with different biomes, missions, farming, fishing, looting, true house building, sailing, vehicles helicopter and cars, generators/solar and wind for making electricity + the survival aspect was less forgiving since food was divided into protein and carbs, yes both was needed to survive.
HYO was released in ea roughly 7 years ago and around that time this UE4 version and these assets had their glory time, there was a bunch of survival games made using similar assets, some were really good and some not so much.
Island Paradise seems to maybe have some potential, but it looks to be very early in development, lots of things needs to be fleshed out, and I am kinda wondering why they chose such an old engine version and assets from a long time ago, however if done right they may make it into a good little game, but for peaceful living and building alone, it just isn't enough, there are many games out there that does it several times better, I really hope they are planning on fleshing it out a lot more having some storyline and unique features :)

Yeah the devs are probably the only ones that can confirm my questions :)
That said, I am no stranger to unreal engine and the many assets from UE marketplace, so I can quickly recognice many of them when I see them although my dev experience is on a more professional level with bigger game studios where lots of stuff was made in-house by specialists, we still sometimes used game assets created by others, but added our own coding and changes to sounds, animations, textures etc.
I did however wishlist it, but for such a barebone asset game priced at 19.50 Euros is just way too much.
Hopefully he or they can make it into something worth that price, but I have so often seen these small indie devs never really make it far, sadly many of them abandon their game once the game doesn't bring in enough cash for them - Time will tell, and hopefully my bad feeling won't turn out to be true :)

This looks awfully familiar because it is. This is just like the crafting system in Skyrim but without the rest of the game and with Oblivion graphics. Actually, my modded Oblivion looks a hundred times better than this. It even has Oblivion-esque Inventories, although Oblivion's are a little fancier with Ye Olde English font. It's doesn't seem like a bad game but then who doesn't like an Elder Scrolls open world?
This game got mixed reviews. Not good.
