    Kimberly queens will recognize the new space it has in the new pot and will grow to the size of it. Plan to prepare and prepare to have a plan when it it gets monstrous huge. My neighbors are fascinated by the ball and form in the giant pot they are in

    I love your humor and realism in your video😄 Thank you for showing this, I have no experience with plants, and just bought a beautiful macho fern. Glad you missed your leg with that drill! 😁

    I'm sorry I didn't hear a word for a minute because I was watching the kitty 😂. How do you have so many ferns/plants with a cat? My fern had to be hidden because of mine. Great video.

      😆I have 2 cats n have had them since 5wks old. They learn real quick to not touch my plants. I have a spray bottle( a jet stream not mist cuz if im far from the cat I wanna make sure I get their ass lol) with water so when I see them going for a plant I spray n yell No! They got used to it but every now n again ill see them try it n then I bust out the spray bottle n they haul ass😆

    Great video! Mine are monster huge and I re potted them. Weather's been unpredictable. Wanted to bring them in occasionally BUT they seem to have what looks like a white dusty cloud that comes off them. Is there a way to "clean " them without killing them.?

    • @pkirkey6932
      @pkirkey6932 Před rokem

      The white dust could be from misting with hard water.

    Should you repot fern at end of summer if too large for pot or wait till next spring?

    • @TheAdhdGardener
      @TheAdhdGardener  Před rokem

      U could at the end of summer(beginning of fall n even in spring)but I'd def avoid planting in winter

    Can I use meal worm castings as a fertilizer for them?

    • @TheAdhdGardener
      @TheAdhdGardener  Před 3 lety +1

      U sure can. Its a slow release tho so in case u need immediate help that would be liquid fertilizer

    I have a kimberly fern in a 6 inch pot that is not happy no matter what I do, then i have a few macho ferns that don't care what I do. I also have crocodile, bird's nest, and tiger ferns. I have them in ideal conditions but constantly get the tips of the fronds to dry and curl regardless of the moisture in the air, temp, and watering schedule. What d I do?

    • @TheAdhdGardener
      @TheAdhdGardener  Před 3 lety

      Have u considered bringing them outside for the summer? I did recently a vid on that. That fern in the vid was giving me so much trouble cuz of the lack of humidity so I brought it outside n its thriving.

    • @TheAdhdGardener
      @TheAdhdGardener  Před 2 lety

      I'm sure u can. It won't be easy to and the plant may experience shock but it'll come back. I'd cut it in half

    You are terrifying to watch with that drill coming out of the pot in your lap! Not a great example for young ones looking for plant advise on what to do.

  • @dougtwigg3285
    @dougtwigg3285 Před 10 měsíci

    Why not just divide , that plant will just grow back bigger and usually die
