- As someone who started building her jewelry collection a few years ago, I always get asked, “Lisa, what are your favourite pieces?” or “if you had to pick ONE piece from each category, what would it be?”
I wanted to make this guide for all those who are JUST starting a jewelry collection so you can avoid some of the mistakes that I did when I first started such as collecting items that were from mass retailers which I ultimately didn’t LOVE and they also didn’t last very long.
If you already started your collection, hopefully you’ll still be able to see what my foundational pieces are and also maybe inspire you for your next pieces!

I'm a high maintenance jewelry girl. Love having variety. My wedding set is big and flashy so I dont take a shower or clean with it.Or any jewelry. Love big statement pieces. Even though I have small hand, i still rock the big rings. My hand at times gets swollen thanks to alergies or weather. But I actually like the process of picking out my jewelry for the day. David Von makes a solid gold and diamond version of the lotus necklace! I gave up on mejuri making one and got mine there.

I too also bought my Diamond lotus necklace from David Von in 14k solid yellow gold. It’s beautiful! I also have the lotus necklace from Mejuri and I loved the design so much I wanted a solid version that would last me forever.
Love how often you post now!! Can you do more styling videos? After watching your hauls I bought the lola skirt in white but I have no idea how to pair it (yeah like crop tops but I also get cold easily and was thinking about pairing it with my kahlo robe midi in modern taupe but idk if that would work) I’m 22 and tired of dressing like a child LOL would like to learn how to start dressing my age 😭

@@getawei yeah check them out! They do a lot with charities and such. So when you purchase items they usually are connected with different charities throughout the year and some proceeds go to help! Great organization!

Hi Lisa, thanks for the amazing video! I am worried about the spiral hoops twisting out of my ear in sleep/shower but I love the look! SHould I be worried?
Thanks for watching! 💖💖 personally that’s the one that stays on for me the most but I’ll still be careful if you’re taking off clothes and washing hair that you’re not too rough on the ear area. Also the spiral earrings you can kind of bend them tighter so that they don’t slip off as easily! I did that with mine hehe

Hi Lisa! Thanks for the video. I just want to ask if you can calm down on the blurry transitions. I normally listen and not watch, but today I wanted to see mejuri recommendations and I started getting headaches with the abundance of the transitions.

Mejuri's gold vermeil is very poor quality compared to so many other companies. If you're not buying their solid gold, i would save your money and buy gold vermeil or better; gold filled from another company. I like Mejuri but so many influencers are just claiming all kinds of excuses as to why they prefer the real gold instead of just being honest and pointing out that there is a big quality difference.
Do you have any recommendations for other companies?
