Ed Vega ---I started to love Miss Sylvia La Torres' style of singing ever since I was in the graders.My eldest sister loved to sing operatic style w/c influenced me more w/ those Kundiman sounds.I got 3 LP's under her name titled:Kundiman,Kalesa,and Sa Kabukiran w/ c I brought them when I immigrated in the USA.Now,I am a 67 years old lady and still loving her all her songs In addition to my LP"s are the ones from You Tube.Kudos to her!!! ,,,,
Gerphil Flores brought me here...Gerphil sang many of Sylvia's songs, look it up...and they were ALL WONDERFUL...I now only listen to OPM songs, kundiman, and classical ones. Thank you, Gerphil, you are a national treasure along with Sylvia.
