In the first episode of a brand-new mini-series, legendary HFT shooter Gary Chillingworth tells us all we need to know about HFT shooting.
Throughout this airgunning series, our three airgun masters - Gary Chillingworth, Mick Garvey and Neil Thorneycroft - will be sharing everything they know about their own area of airgun sport expertise, before engaging in a shooting challenge to demonstrate the key aspects of the sport and to see how their accomplices fair when taken out of their comfort zones!
Kicking off with HFT, this series will also cover FT, Target Sprint and Long-Range Plinking with a hunting focus.
Utilising the fantastic air rifle range at Brook Valley, Gary Chillingworth takes the lead on episode 1 with an introduction to the air rifles, targets and rules involved in HFT competition shooting. Then, it’s out onto the course for the shooting challenge which involves shooting from different positions, range finding, and telling a bad dad joke... the three tests sum-up what HFT shooting is all about, in Gary’s opinion!
