And finally adult tanjiro is sitting like his dad used to in the sunlight sipping tea. Zenitsu then shows this book to him to which he turns his face towards him and tells him that it's very well written and gives the book the name " Demon Slayer". The show ends .
If you think about it, its kinda sad. Zenitsu always thought he would die first and die horribly, but he ended up dying last, watching all of his friends pass away.

There is a theory that says that he lived longer, this is based on the fact that Yoriichi also had the mark and lived to be an old man (maybe the solar respiration has something to do with it), there is another theory that says that he lived longer because when Muzan turned him in demon I also remove the consequences that the mark left

Meaning he probably had poor health despite his physique. Or he prolly died doing something silly. Which is in character. Nezuko who is most like Tanjiro, probably had her life shorten from various things. But typically women don’t live as long as men on average. So by process of elimination, Zenitsu is most likely to grow old.
There’s something bittersweet about Zenitsu writing a whole legend that exaggerates his part of the story but the final chapter is based on reflection, his confessing the truth regarding his own story, and finding genuine happiness in life with his friends.

He overcomes them all as he grows into a character, falling in love and watching as all his love ones dying. He really was the mc and one of the best written characters ( my opinion) of demon slayer not because he is better than anyone but he resembles the watchers and they can relate to him than most of the characters. He really was the most human of all and not afraid or hide that he is scared, there is no way a person could see a demon or be surrounded but demons with sensitive hearing and anxiety and not piss ur pants😂😂😂😂but he overcame that fear and protected all the ppl who couldn’t protect themselves and his friends and that is true bravery ♥️♥️
I know its weird to say because its simply an anime but it makes your cry both happy and restful tears at the end knowing that muzan's gone it was a very emotional series and the end of zenitsu's 'book' really shows that.

Zenitsu is the best total concentration breather remaining so he’ll live a long lonely life, he presumably lived to around 100+ similar to yorcihi but obviously he wasn’t fighting at 100+ 💀, but since his breathing was so advanced he literally unconsciously forced himself to live longer life than everyone It’s moments like this when you realise becoming a demon slayer or mastering breathing yes gives advantages but in the long run is only pain, especially considering Nezuko would of died at around 70 max going off the time period and inosuke tengen kanao etc would of died at around 80 maybe 90 for kanao
if we ever get a next generation bs, hope that it isn't like the boruto anime where its filler upon filler. and especially not the sequel to the how to train your dragon series. and let the reincarnated have a break and make them side characters. and let a new protag take over.
