- It's laundry day and I thought I'd show you how I do this with no washing machine. Everyone always asks me how to do hand washing so here goes...here is a video of me literally doing my laundry...interesting huh?!

So true, I wash 2-5 items daily including bed sheets by hand and it’s very relaxing because I don’t have to do mounds of clothing in one day.
Exactly!! It literally takes no time to wash a few bits and hang it to dry! I used to hate waiting for the machine to finish its cycle! 💤
I do this too
My building has a pay laundry room and I was washing my clothes in the machine in small batches, like half loads, then air dry in my apartment. But they recently hiked up the price and it’s just not worth it considering I’m only doing half loads every other day. Hand washing doesn’t look nearly as arduous as I thought, so to the sink I gooooo!
Great video, our washer broke and dont have the money for a laundry room, but i feel the clothes smell cleaner when done in small batches
Stacey Canipe totally agree with this! My husbands work tops always smelt funky after washing in a machine but when we started washing this way a few years ago we both noticed how much cleaner they smelt!
To Stacey: At 2:26 minutes: Do small batches. This is confirmed.
My washing machine broke and I refuse to buy another one. Washing by hand as well, waiting on my washboard to come in and also bought a outdoor drying rack. Great video!🙏😊

I wash by hand and it's relaxing and fulfilling. I especially love it when my son and husband hand me their clothes to wash by hand 😊

Thanks for this video I have a dryer but I'll definitely be up early tomorrow morning sorting through and really making sure I get my clothes clean in the sink due to my washer being broke

I'm thinking about starting to do my washing this way. We don't have a washing machine and I hate having to drive all the way into town to the laundry mat and then wait an hour for it to wash and dry
I enjoyed watching your video. I hate washing machines especially when they go into the high speed cycle and it feels like we are having an earthquake. I bought one several years ago and it ruined my expensive shirts and then I had electric short and at the time I didn't want to pay for the service and have been handwashing ever since. My only problem is getting the detergent powder for handwash in my country because nowadays they only sell detergent for washing machines. I don't know the brand that you are using. Anyway I liked the last bit when the cat came in to do the sink inspection. His face was saying: Well done everything looks perfect I think I will give you good marks this time. Keep up the good work.
Haha love that analysis of my cat…there was probably a bit of “where is my food?” In there too!
I always use a liquid detergent so maybe try to find some of that. Mine is designed for washing machines but it dissolves better than a powder. I hate washing machines too. They’re so noisy and all the gunk that gets caught over time in the door and soap tray is just gross!

@@TheCrystalSoulTribe I didn't want to mention food because it could have made your cat take offence. His mood was like "Hey man, I am an ethical sink inspector. How dare you insinuate my report can be favorable depending on how much Whiskas the lady of the house puts in my plate?". I watched the part outside and I didn't see any pigeons. Lucky you. I have a gang of pigeons whose main purpose in life is to watch when it is laundry day for me. Then they ask a volunteer who had eaten the most that day and send him on a drone mission to fly over my laundry and then empty his arsenal (pun is intended) with such a precision that puts the superpowers to shame.

Same with our situation right now. I’m still going to work during COVID, but I can do clothes that I need right away, toss them in the dryer, and do others on my day off.
I can't seem to get the soap out very well. No matter how many times I rinse with clean water soap just keeps coming out.
If you use a mild detergent that is non irritating then it shouldnt be too much of a problem. Also, try not to put too much soap in to start with as you only need a small amount to clean your clothes.

they do sell portable rv tiny twin tubs washers no hookups required. too much work washing by hand. i only do this for emergencies and only a one or two items

The breathing washer which is basically a modified plunger, washes better than a washing machine with minimal effort, within a few pumps you see the dirt being sucked out of the clothes.
I have this too! I mostly use it when washing bed sheets in the bath. And my husband uses it all the time when he does the laudry as he prefers it.
I Hand Wash my Laundry too I Wash my Towels and Clothes in my Bathtub and I let them Air Dry I find Hand Washing my Laundry Cheaper so I don't have to Waste Money on doing Laundry

Haha yea these aren’t fun! It takes the two of us to wring them out as they’re quite heavy. But we manage 😄

I use zote the pink bar and omg it does a great job at cleaning clothes
Why by hands.
machine washing is better because you dont have to do all of the hard work just to wash clothes once you start a wash cycle you can just wait for how long the cycle is and machines also spin very fast so it gets all of the water out of your clothes and for drying clothes tumble dryers are better than using clothes lines because dryers dry clothes much faster
Why haven't you got a washer, Cant be without a washer,
Bad video -u don't say suggested how many minutes to agitate. No need to wring *each* item separately. Just drain the sink and push mound against sink to squeeze water out. That water was real dirty, you should've rinsed and repeat wash.
So glad you have a great way to wash ur own clothes and maybe you should make a video so I can learn from you 🤓
