Virtual room makeovers!
I like the layered rugs. I personally like to layer rugs unevenly over each other, like throw blankets.
I like the improvements to the pictures. Live with them awhile and what you want will come to you. Or you will know it is complete.
You should add some rust color cushions that have some taupe color design on it too, I think you need a little pop of color and will go with your beautiful coffee table as well as your gorgeous rug!

I love your living room! I think your idea to paint the window trim/panes black was genius & truly changed the feel of the room!! I like the single rug in the living room. The Etsy rug is really nice - maybe in your bedroom? or hallway? I would love to see a henna, rust, burnt sienna, terracotta or a deep burgundy in one side of the art pieces - maybe 3 small strips or a shadow something to create just a tiny bit of contrast. Other wise.....amazeballs!! And Kinsley sitting on the back of the couch - she looked like a doll - so incredibly sweet! ♥ LOVE your new camera & equipment I would just be staring at it & every time I took a look I would be soo excited - like Christmas morning! Congrats on all of it! Enjoy!

I LOVE THE COFFEE TABLE, West Elm material. Love it. I loved the grey in your art work. It added a little “something , something “ or maybe try adding a darker nude colour to it. I feel it’s a little too less with such a huge art piece with a bold black border.
I think the art piece is looking really good. You could add a darker color that is still monochromatic and that will pop the lighter color. I would do as a textured pattern. You could use a metal grate, a lace design, or a leaf stencil. You can use a thick paint medium from Micheal’s if you want it to have a raised stucco feel to it.

Great job on everything MaCenna, have you considered painting the other window panes in your space (since you have a kinda open floor plan) black, just to tie all the rooms together. Go for it! It's gonna blow your mind. The black is EPIC!!
Great idea on softening the border of the paintings! I would have never thought of that! I think both styles look great, though. The softer border gives it more of a West Elm look, and the thicker line looks more World Market-esc. Both great stores, but very different vibes. ☺️
I totally get Romeo on the sticky! Whenever I eat pizza I feel like I have pizza sauce all over my face and I feel dirty and sticky.😂
I have the same camera Mark 6d. Best investment ever. I got it with a stigma 35mm 1.4 lense and that is what I use to film.

I have a suggestion for your art,
Why don’t you try some black paint spills.
Obviously lying the painting down flat and using some runny black paint to do a little random spill pattern.
Or use black charcoal (playing on the texture) to rub in some shapes and set with a spray if you like it. Xx
I love the way the new decor helps blend the fireplace tiling into the space! Also, I'm obsessed with the wall art and am planning on doing some joint compound paintings for my new house :)

I wanted to thank you for the idea of painting the inside of your window frame black, I plan to do this in my kitchen to tie my appliances and back splash wall together. Your coffee table is fabulous. I really love it, such a great idea and well-executed. 👍😊 The two paintings need a few touches of a darker tan to enrich them, not grey but a deeper tone of the beige/tan you already used in them. The centres of both paintings are white and look unfinished, so more action there would help.

I went thrifting today. I got two crystal vases, 2 shirts, a lamp and the two water colors large, large water colors, and a basket. This is so much fun! I really should stop. But I have promised myself for every thing I bring in I will donate something else. I turn 67 tomorrow. I have been collecting stuff all my life. Oh, my husband bought me a kitchen aid stand mixer. He is so nice. We were married 37 years ago in august. You go girl.
The paintings might need a touch of vintage metallic gold in there to warm them up, to go with the mirror and new rug /table candle i saw you had on their before. Thin stripes of it against the most elevated layer of compound you have. Maybe. Im no pro yet but just a thought haha ❤
I do like the art with the softened edges . At the very end of the video where you have your credits you have a peachy colour , maybe a washed out version of that colour would go well in the art it’s warm . Love your channel you are so talented 😊
Although the vintage rug is unique, it might be a little too busy for the living room possibly ?? Maybe try it somewhere like your kitchen ?? ... would love to see what it looks like in there!!
I think it clashes as well. The black and white pillows go with the window trim and the overall new style that you were going for, which is amazing btw! But the rug and the new art that you are not so sure in yet might have a better fit elsewhere.

The coffee table is everything with the angles ... I’m gonna try to recreate but with the peel and stick vinyl planks on my thrifted round table 🤷🏻♀️who knows if it’ll work ... you inspire me! #mylowbudgetdyi

You could do some line work over the textured art. Or add in other textures like metal with our trusty e6000 glue. It looks amazing as is too or you can add some flair with more layers. Congrats on 500k! I love the inspo on both your channels :)

Your main channel is in my top 3 favorite decor channels (with TheSorryGirls and Mr. Kate) BECAUSE when I watch your videos I don’t feel like I’m watching this very clearly high income CZcamsr doing DIYs or thrifting things I can’t do or get myself. It’s like hanging out with a friend when I watch your vids I love it!
