I sure do appreciate those D17s as well! That tractor just runs!! A little TLC, and the rig was back to work! Good question on the fenders, not sure. A fella that worked for us bought those at an auction super cheap and put them on- I think he’s the only guy that likes that look- ha ha ha! To be honest, I do like the flat style, so I think I’m going to cut them down to fit and mount a radio on the fender, plus some LED lights. I still have the original fenders in a shed, but I’m going to give these a shot. I’m got some other things to replace, so it will be a good March/April project. Thanks for watching and commenting, I really appreciate it!
@@jeffferanec4526 yup, that makes sense, honestly I really like the flat top fenders, so I'm going to try and cut them down to fit. This spring I'm going to finish the rest of the work and give it a good pressure washing! My son living in Wisconsin found me a good craftsman gasoline powered pressure washer for free on the side of the road. I guess I taught him well, as I've stressed to all my kids to drive through neighborhoods with lots of money cause they put the best stuff on the curb for free! ha ha ha ha - I'll take it!
@@opasvintagegarage Ur Son came across a good find, take a look at a 170,175, 180 or 185 to see how the fenders are cut for axle clearance or if U R lucky trade some one for a set from a 170 as they fit perfectly.
17:33 Starts like an Allis.
Yes sir!! Thanks for watching!!
Got to luv the series III. What are the fenders off of?

Those fenders are from an Allis 200 or One Ninety series III.

@@jeffferanec4526 thanks for the tip! I hate to cut them if another fella can use them as is! I appreciate the info!
