  • How to Aim and Drop a Tree Where You Want it to go. 🌳🎯 A little tree felling tutorial for ya. Just a basic look at how to use a chainsaw sight line to drop a tree. This tutorial doesn’t talk about tree lean, weight distribution, tree height or tree structure. We’ll touch on that in an upcoming video. So just keep that in mind. THANKS FOR WATCHING!

    I cut around it removing a few 1 4 to 18 inch trees loaded up and went back the next day to finish picking up the firewood on the ground.
    Mother nature made some 40 mph gusts and it was laying where I'd parked the day before.

      Start with the saw pressed right in place at your dogs and just wrap it around. You can see your chain cut the wedge out if you look down into your 1st cut. So you dont cut to far. Makes it super easy. Just remember that you can always clean up BUT you cant replace wood. Try to clean up the extra not cut more then you want out of your face.

    When you lift the bar up before tightening the bar nuts, which is very common practice, you might always feel like your tree is landing slightly to the right side of your gun line. This is why.

    • @ravenshield7823
      @ravenshield7823 Před rokem +1

      @@scottrose7728 No, I am saying you will have to compensate slightly, and I gave the reason why. Think about it, If you can wiggle the bar up or down and tighten it at different angles, it's impossible for the gun sight to always line up, it's just something you have to get used to, "compensating" and I bring it up because some people might think they are doing something wrong when inf act there is a logical explanation as to why. If you move the barrel of you rifle up or down are you going to shoot point of aim? No. The tree will fall slightly to the right of your gun sight, if the bar is lifted up and tightened. This is the way all four of my husky's act. YMMV, but the fact remains, if you can change the angle of the bar, then the gunsight is just a static reference.

      UM.... You shouldn't cut down trees if you are not sure how to do it. EVERY tree tells a story. ONLY a tree professional can read the story. NEVER cut down a tree unless you have the ability to do so. This would be the same thing for rock climbing up a straight cliff. Never did it dont just jump into such a dangerous event.. Chain saws dont have training wheels. If you dont know what your doing DONT DO IT... Even pros make mistakes and miscalculations. A novice is playing a game of death and destruction.

It's not so much about the amount of inches at the stump as it is board feet damage throughout the entire tree that can be mitigated.
      I offered this suggestion in my OP, because there's not a lot of videos explaining this and most people that watch these videos don't understand why the Humboldt is the best option on hilly landscape.

    DO You Know Jesus Christ?
    The Good News to Our Sin Problem Cause We’re ALL Sinners and Need Jesus to Forgive us our Sins through Faith by Grace
    Romans 3:25-27
    For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
    Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:
    Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;
    Romans 6:23
    For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
    Hell or Heaven?
    Matthew 10:28
    And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.
    Matthew 24:51
    And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
    HELL IS A REAL LOCATION
    ALL NON CHRISTIANS WILL BE THERE
    The Gospel
    1 Corinthians 15:1-4
    Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;
    By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.
    For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
    And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
    1 Timothy 2:4-6
    Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.
    For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;
    Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.
    What does it take to be Forgiven?
    Faith Alone in the Death, Burial and Resurrection of Jesus Christ (God) to Forgive your Sins through His blood. By believing in this you have become a new creation in Christ, and have a promise you’ll be with the Lord in your death, but also have the Holy Spirit living in you forever as a guide for you). If you believe, from that moment on to eternity you are saved (No matter how much you struggle with sin after).
    A PRAYER FOR SALVATION THROUGH FAITH
    “I know that I am a sinner and need your forgiveness. I believe that Christ died for my sins and rose three days later from the grave. Thank you for forgiving my sin on the cross. You alone Jesus is now why I have forgiveness and eternal life. Thank you in Jesus name. Amen.”
    If you have prayed this with faith you are Forgiven and now in the body of Christ.
    Welcome brother or sister into the Body.
    Ephesians 1:13-14
    In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,
    Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.
    Ephesians 2:8-9
    For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
    Not of works, lest any man should boast.
    What if I continue to Sin?
    What if I stop having Faith?
    What if 5 years after being saved I have an affair?
    What if I aborted my child?
    What about suicide?
    When you first had faith in Christ in your heart you were sealed and justified from that day forward, no matter what you do or don’t do our Lord has saved your soul and made you a new creation. Eternal Security (100% Going to Heaven)
    This is isn’t a license to sin, it’s a realization that God gave you the best gift ever by saving your soul from hell.
    Your old habits of sin go away over time when you walk with the Lord. No one is perfect, that’s why Jesus had to Justify (Impute righteousness) us through his righteousness by the blood. So don’t be discouraged you will grow and your old habits will shed away over time. You will always have struggles but God always remains faithful.
    Loving people is what the Lord wants us to do, so I would encourage everyone to minister the Gospel and be an example of Gods power through the renewing of your mind on Gods Word. When we listen to people speak and show them love God will shine through us. The “small” things in life like a smile, a hug, a great attitude, a conversation with a stranger, an encouraging word, cooking dinner for someone in need, loving your parents, and having a heart for people as Christians should seek to have daily.
    I’m looking forward to that day when i meet the Lord and all the Christians in the clouds at the Rapture. Our time on earth is running out so lets spread the gospel in love.
    Titus 3:8
    This is a faithful saying, and these things I will that thou affirm constantly, that they which have believed in God might be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable unto men.

    You need to put the saw down before you hurt yourself. Dull saw, wrong wedge cut, no idea what you are doing
