What a great quarterback! And he's taking another huge leap this year. You can just see it. His accuracy is unbelievable now. His awareness. He releases the ball in 1.9 seconds on average this year.

Carr played exceptionally good this entire season without throwing an interception for 3 months of the season (almost broke the NFL record for most passes without an INT; holds 2nd or 3rd place) without reliable/talented recievers, without a strong o-line protection (worst in the league; he was sacked 51+ times this season and had an average of 2 seconds to throw the ball before being tackled), the defense averaged 30 points allowed per game with combining the least total sacks in the league (they combined 12 total and the 2nd worst was like 23 sacks) and Carr has only played in the same system for 2 years (he's entering next season with Gruden in his 2nd year; last time he played in a system for 2 years was in 2016 when the Raiders made the playoffs)
@@jadyncollons6819 Carr is a great quarterback, unless you ignore he's a Raider (which i'm assuming you dont like the Raiders) and ignore the TEAM record and pay attention to what he's done and how much better the Raiders have been with him, you'd see that too. Even if Carr was a quarterback on a different team, even a rival team in our division, I'd not only respect the man because of who he is on and off of the field, but I'd recognize talent and I wont deny that about him.

Agreed. Good point my friend. I could easily watch a few hours of it and be smiling and happy the whole time. Hopefully they will make the long version of it after Carr and the Raiders wins us the Superbowl... and I'm hoping that happens very much sooner than later. Ideally in about 7 months from now... so around March 20th, 2021. Yessir!!! HAHAHA. Yeah, then like Derek said, he's hanging the championship banners in the rafters of the Raiders training facility and then doing it again, and again, and again, etc until he's an old man and they're kicking him out of there, which actually, he'll always be welcome, but yeah, I love Derek Carr and I'm so happy that he finally has the right players and coaches around him, finally, but I'm not complaining. I'm just excited and wish him and the entire Raiders team a completely healthy and well championship 2021-2022 season and again and again... etc. The man definitely deserves it and so does the organization and Raider Nation. It's time to just win baby!!!

He's everything to this team... the Raiders were simply deflated without him when he got injured last season.
Captain Cartman dude the whole Nation was deflated when he got hurt. Not only the team. Any place there was raider fans had the energy sucked out of the room (even in the stadium). Everyone in Raider Nation was bummed out- not just the organization and players. I knew that it almost ruined the holiday season for me

I'm not religious in any sense, but I absolutely love his passion, and work ethic. He's such an amazing person and I am so thankful that he's the face of the franchise for the Raiders

As a Steelers fan, I definitely don't want the Raiders to win the Super Bowl this year! Haha However, I love that Derek Carr is the man of God that he is, and I love the competitive drive and leadership that he displays on the football field. My prayer is that he would continue to be a light in the Raiders locker room, that he would be a light to players and coaches across the league, and that he would be a light to anyone and everyone else that he has an opportunity to touch because of the position that God has put him in and the gifts that God has blessed him with. And you know what, if the Steelers can't win it, I'm happy to root for Derek any day!
If you really know DC, you know that football isn't even his first passion in life. It's his faith. I assume if DC was writing this script, that would have been a little more pronounced. I hope he continues to be a great man of God!

This is a GREAT video. Man the Carr family did such a great job with their kids. I love it. I have been a fan of the Raiders since 1977. Ive seen every QB from Stabler to Derek. In my opinion Derek has every single highlight skill that Stabler,Plunket,and Gannon has. Hes calm and makes good plays like Plunket, His accuracy is just as good as Gannons was,and his play making ability to come from behind and find a way to win like Stabler and run is just amazing. I left out something they all did not have or as I feel. Derek has a pure cannon of an arm but with touch. He has every one of those skills and the young man is such a good genuine person. I think that part just fully sells me on him. As a fan im going to watch games and just appreciate watching him play and hopefully he can double up on our Super Bowl wins,lol. I think hes got at least 2 in him if not 3 with Gruden,Mack,and Cooper.If we could get a young stud RB soon will help out a lot. GO RAIDERS!!!!!!!
The thumbnail where Bakersfield Christian won the Valley championship... I was there. It was the infamous Fog Bowl in Corcoran (hour north of Bakersfield) where he took on my high school. We could hardly see the game the tule fog was so thick.
My brother and cousin was playing in that game. They tried so hard to hate Derek but they just couldn't because he was such a cool guy.
Us guys that grew up in the Central Valley want Derek to succeed so badly because we see him as one of us.

Watching this in 2020 after Carr finally defeated the Chiefs in Arrowhead. The Raider Resurgence is back from 2016 and it didn’t take 14 years this time! So thankful DC4 is still our QB. We’d be lost without him.
