I watched Bobby Pickett sing this on Dick Clarks American Bandstand I believe I was about 10 had to look was 1964. This is the second time this was filmed and Goff and Kathy had to do it on their own. Kathy did the wardrobe and makeup. Geoff did everything else Arranged, Produced, Filmed, Performed, and Edited by Geoff Castellucci. This was filmed a Patty Cake Productions. Geoff can bust a move. Love the the ending. Surprise! The Minions are actually representing the monsters. Dracula, Wolfman, and Frankenstein Monster. Their dance is about monsters too. They go Frankenstein, with arms out, Wolfman, clawing up the scenery, Dracula, with his cape, and the Mummy, with arms bound. Glad you enjoyed it.
Two yrs ago, a little window showed up on CZcams and it was this. I didn't even realize CZcams did music - I was interested in plants, news, house plans, etc. and instead I saw this! Best thing that's happened in a long time. It was my favorite Halloween song as a kid 60 yrs ago and I was and am delighted. Immediately found VoicePlay doing Hoist the Colours and that was it for me. I dwell in the rabbit hole happily just waiting for more. Thanks for doing this - I never get tired of it.

I love this version of the song, and seeing you chuckle throughout! The Bobby Pickett version was re-released in the UK in the 70's, when I was at school ('73 it peaked at #3 in the UK charts!), and it's been around pretty much every Halloween since! 😊

The dead woman on the couch that he danced with at the end was of course Geoff's wife, Kathy (production manager for solo Geoff and Voice Play). I think you would really enjoy Geoff's spooky take on his solo cover of "Ghost Riders In The Sky" from last Halloween. My favorite Halloween covers from Voice Play are: "Grim Grinning Ghosts", "In The Hall Of The Mountain King", "Ding Dong/Hide And Seek", "Superstition", "This Is Halloween" and "Once Upon A Dream". You have a great sense of humor so I think you would really enjoy Voice Play and Home Free together in "Survivor- Zombies VS Hillbillies" (it is hilarious!)
