Cycling the South Tynedale Trail NCN 68

I had another trip out on the train to Haltwhistle , this time I cycled from the station onto NCN 68 following the south tynedale trail to Lambley viaduct, then I picked up the old track bed to Hallbankgate. After a coffee stop in Hallbankgate I took the long way home through villages and hamlets of Cumbria.
I had a strange encounter on Lambley viaduct , which I only noticed whilst editing it at home. When I was looking over the viaduct and saying “it’s a long way down” a voice can be heard saying “Yes” and it want me !
And I was alone on the viaduct !!! So I have no idea ?

Beautiful country, beautiful video. Thank you for taking us along for the ride. One request for your videos; please try to equalize the sound volume between when you speak and when you just have music. The music is much louder (too loud) and I have to keep turning the volume up and down while watching. You made Wonderful music choices for the video too!

Thanks for watching , I’m always conscious of getting the audio correct but sometimes when I playback when editing it always sounds quieter. Point taking I will drop the audio a few decibels on my next one . Atb Dave ⛺️🚲👍

Thanks 👍 yeah it opens up lots of opportunities using the train. I’m hoping to do a trip right through to Alston and back via hartside in the summer.

@@davesolobiker5601 yeah what I do now is check places out on day trips and expand out from there. Make notes take pictures, write down cords to find it next time. I may even use maps I cut up placing them in map wallets for the day.
