    Yeah Smokey Yunick used the spintron decades ago. He new that things like valve springs work differently at rpm’s. It’s why we use different spring diameters, different spring material. Maybe One diameter coil has issues at a certain rpm, then Al the other diameter spring has a harmonic frequency at another rpm, then they can help cancel each other out. Science is really cool.!!!

    Thank you all for the testing/development and sharing it with us. I’m building an ls/lt hybrid and I’m thinking about a custom ground camshaft… 6.0 GEN4 with 2021 Silverado 6.2 LT heads. 😅 currently only BTR has a camshaft.

    • @C6Z_Bob
      @C6Z_Bob Před 7 měsíci

      I doubt it. They're pretty stout, but 9000 is a LOT of RPM. I would definitely want a forged piston and probably a forged rod at that RPM

      This is going on a SBE. 9000 is asking a lot long term. We have 30 engine dyno pulls so far on it up to 8600 RPM. This combo isn’t limited to sbe stuff, or na stuff. It is available for all LT applications.

    Just want to say my 5.3 L83 dogs stock and modified NA LS out 😂 I’m glad I did it the hard way now…. Different plus has some balls LT genV is the way to go 5.3 and 6.2. To be honest the only lightly modified car to beat me has been a 6.2 LT. Look through my channel and you can see the race for yourself. Glad I seen this video. Back to the drawing board 😂

      We went 11.5@120 with a bolt on 5gen. Then did a c6 and went 10.5@132. My own bolt on ls6 went 10.7@130ish.
