California choir teacher honored with Grammy Music Educator Award

- Many performers on the Grammy Awards stage will likely remember a music teacher who helped them. Every year, the Recording Academy and Grammy Foundation recognize a teacher for his or her contribution to music in the classroom. Michelle Miller speaks with this year's winner, Keith Hancock.
My son Brandon is so fortunate to be part of Mr Hancock's class. He's the kind of teacher that you feel very comfortable that your child is in good hands. It was always a "WOW" every after concert we watched at Tesoro. He's an excellent teacher and it shows with his students. Congratulations for a very well deserve award Mr Hancock!!!

Class of 2023 baby!
I attending high school at Tesoro, actually with Erin who spoke of him. I wasn't in choir, but I was in the theatre program that partners with the choir program. Me. Hancock is an amazing teacher and person, and I have never met anyone in any of his classes who had anything negative to say about him. He more than deserves this he is phenomenal. When the theater does their spring musical, he partners with the teacher of the drama program, Mrs. C, and helps the students with singing roles prepare to make some of the best stage performances I've ever seen. Congrats Mr. H, you deserve it!
