I just want to say that I am so thankful I found your channel! You have given me so much helpful information and I have decided to use the Charlotte Mason approach mixed with some Unschooling. I have had a lot of reservations about home schooling, and now I am maybe starting to get a little excited! Is there a link to the book you were reading from? This is the very beginning of Home School for us and I am going to need all the resources I can get! Again, thank you!
Hi Shelby! We have several quotes from various books. We site them here: simplycharlottemason.com/blog/ideas-core-values-of-charlotte-mason/
This channel is a blessing.
So glad that you have been blessed by these episodes.
This video was a great Idea!😁
Thank you so much Sonya 🤗😘
Love all your input and effort ❤
Oh my goodness! My mind is figuratively ablaze as I traverse through these episodes, particularly the examples presented in the "Idea" episode.
I must say, this phrase couldn't be more apt: "A vitalizing idea can spark your own further related ideas. An idea you latch onto almost takes on a life of its own, connecting with other ideas in your mind, growing in scope, exploring related possibilities, and even spawning other ideas".
This phrase perfectly encapsulated my experience over the past five years, though I struggled to articulate it. In fact, my mind was effortlessly connecting all the core values with other ideas, even disparate ones, as I listened to the episode.
Thank you, @Sonya Safer. I look forward to visiting you and the team someday when I relocate to the States.
Thank you for joining us and sharing your thoughts! So glad that you have enjoyed these episodes.
Thank you- my mentor 🤗
You're welcome!
Which books did the quotes come from? ( The example of a passage with living ideas) Thank you.
It was "The Little Naturalist in the Garden" by Rev. Theodore Wood. An appropriate surname for such an enthusiast, I think! His father was Rev. J.G.Wood and I have seen their books on the Book Depository site.
Thank you for chiming in to clarify this!
