This feels like a real problem and a real conversation between parents about a spoiled child. I like how it’s not corny acting! It’s immersive and feels like this a true example of a situation like this!
Ikr facts
@ Kj_Skullz
Honestly, why would the parents agree to send her to college. She clearly wasn’t focused on her career. She was just there so that she wouldn’t have to work.
After high school, they should have forced her to work so she can pay for her own expensive material stuff, so she can learn to take care of herself in the real world. That’s the whole purpose of college……to prepare you for adulthood.
@@amylee8969 I agree
It’s Steven niblo
@@shadowsmith1386 yep
This girl learned a sad but real truth. I hated working during high school, but I slowly started appreciating it. And I ended up having one of the best jobs in college. And I ended up saving a lot of money.
Even if you aren’t working as a teen, the least you can do is appreciate what you have and what your parents do for you.
I didn’t get my first job until I was about 22, but I was a full time college student and I always appreciated everything I had without complaining.

I love how her father took up the responsibility of a parent and said, "Yes, we did." when her mom scolded her saying that they didn't raise her to be rude. ❤️❤️❤️ We should always teach our children to be grateful for what they have and let them know the importance of hard work. ❤️❤️❤️
Ok I guess
@@Slytherbug "I guess"?

The most surprising part was the dad winning a fight against the mom.
In this case, dad is right. The daughter needed a reality check and wake up call.
I like Cassie, her mom is trying to teach her the reality of financial responsibility.
Which she should have started doing a long time ago, then she wouldn’t have turned out that way.
@@amylee8969 Unfortunately we have to be around people that treat people horribly
@@amylee8969 You make a fair point on her dad making her get a job, because I was able to understand his body language to his daughter.

Bro, I was thinking the exact same thing I was thinking about.
New zealand and Australia pay checks belike yoooooo that's how much my minimum wage makes in 1 week.
For context new zealand which I live in and Australia have the highest minimum wage
If that was a Bi-Weekly check then it is kindof low.
She made that in a week that is about an average job payment
@@josephtheprogamer8030 They never say in the video
if it is weekly or bi-weekly.
"It's not my fault that her family is poor" this sentence have literally made me feel awful I even imagined my self in "Cassie's" place that would be more than hurtful 😢 💔
it's actually not her fault though
@@edifysalim5359 It technically is not. However, that was still a very hurtful thing to say.
@@edifysalim5359 sometimes the truth would be so hurtful, it's not about if it's her fault, it's about that her parents want her to learn how to be responsible, she's so spoiled

Personally if I was Cassie, I would have taken out my anger and sadness on Madison. I would use the most harmful and atrocious ways. She would learn her lesson and never forget it. I will unleash the power in me. That's just me tho.
thinking ur rlly young
And you would have gotten expelled from college and fired from your job. Unfortunately, this isn’t how you can handle things in the real world.
Best part is Cassie is nicer and prettier Madison is so evil and also has a curved chin gosh at least spend $1500 on some chin fillers girl lol
idk if i'd take that approach... I'd probably simply say, "Okay, first off, you don't even KNOW my family!"
I honestly hope there are alot more people like cassie out there she seems like the sweetest person
Yes I agree. Honestly, when I was in college, I wanted to get a job. But back in like 2011/2012 getting jobs was hard with the economy crash. And I was also a full time student. I didn’t get my first job until my final year of college which was a temporary seasonal one.
cassie is adorable, it made me cry when she's about to cry in the restaurant
When he said “kids can go to school and have a job at the same time” I felt like that was really inspiring to me because I’m in high school and I have a job at the same time
Prove it how you have time to watch CZcams vids 😂
Literally nobody asked
I didn’t work and go to school at the same time but my sister did when she was a teenager
@@lauragrace3270 It’s called having insomnia. I’m an intern and a full time student, and my lack of sleep allows me to go on CZcams (albeit the consequences of having dark circles under my eyes 😅).

This is actually relatable. Even my family isn't that rich I always complained how boring my room is and college lifestyle. Now I am chilling and building a decent future for myself. You shouldn't be, Anyone can have a name Madison and be a good person
8:49 $1400 is seriously a lot to me
At least she saved that money
True, I never had that much money until I was 16 and that was the only time I had that much.
I believe this took place in Los Angeles (or at least California). It’s expensive to live there, so the jobs there typically pay more than those in other states. I live in Louisiana and, while the pay is crap, housing is way cheaper.
It is
9:07 The look the dad gave madison is just so relatable , just eye contact and you are in 6 feet grave
It’s the face of death
I worked while I went to college. It wasn't always easy. In fact, one semester, I worked 2 jobs while going to school. You have to work a job when you're in college or even high school for that matter. It shows you the value of hard work and also gives you an idea of what it's like to have a job when you're done with school. You can't go through life having other people give you money.
I didn’t begin working until my final years in college. As a freshman, I wasn’t working. But my parents never spoiled me to the point where I grew up entitled or got away with spending hundreds of dollars on their credit card on things I don’t need. I was greatful if everyone they gave me.
Seeing Cassie cry makes me want to give her a hug.
AT 11:57 when they said "Until Maddie relises how much little money it is" BRO that's so much money
Sorry I meant Madison

Don’t blame the girl! Blame her parents for raising her like that and then tried to act surprise that she’s become what she is now. Even after they are so called trying to teach her a lesson they came at the end “ we have pulled some strings to let you live off- campus🤦🏾♂️” she’s definitely going to learn in life of course surrrrre
Karen really asked for the manager
As someoone with alot of money, i didnt realize the expense on cash, im not gonna say how much money i have. i learned that i should be grateful for the expenses of cash, the difficulty of how hard it is to get money. I really love this episode because it shows you cant get everything in your hands at any moment, you have to work for what you want.
Parents like this need to start their kids off like this in learning how to take responsibility early on in life
What I like is that the parents blamed themselves for their child’s spoiled behaviour. In scenarios like this, kids are only like that because parents always enabled it. In very rare cases does the child act like that despite being taught and raised to appreciate. If I could get anything just by asking, it would be dumb not to continue. I have to be taught into seeing why I should stop being spoiled.
Knowing you can’t get everything in life is an important lesson parents/legal guardians and teachers should teach as young as possible. You have to sacrifice short-term happiness in order to have long-term wellbeing. It’s difficult to take away long-term happiness
