      @jajuan_brown Před měsícem +18

      Exactly, and even in games like against Nottingham Forest n the one that just played against Wolves, its obvious the gameplan Pep has for him is different than against teams like Arsenal and RMA. He was more involved, making more runs and showcasing his immense speed, somewhat helping in buildup play, he has so much more and we've seen little bits come out here and there when he has less restrictions but Pep's playstyle for him in more "important" and bigger games is more laid back, keep defenders on him to provide space for his other teammates. Its like in those games he aint primarily used as a goalscorer, but more like a defense magnet, and I get why Pep does it but I really hope Haaland gets to use and develop more of his game in the future, because although he doesnt look like it atm his potential to be technically brilliant is there, but latent and needs to be worked on.

    I keep it saying it again and again. His overall play is not that bad. We know Pep. He subbed off Henry for scoring a goal playing at the wrong place. If Pep says you do it, you do it. And not every player is perfect and can play every role. Now you can’t expect a traditional holding midfielder to go box to box. That’s why you can’t expect a poacher be a deep lying forward. But yeah his finishing and form has dipped this season. His hold up play isn’t that good too. But as I said. He is the best at what he does and not we want him to do. And that’s alright.

    Football purists dont want him to win a ballon d'or cause without technical support, like from someone like KDB, Foden, Alvarez etc, Haaland cannot thrive at top level, besides that, he seems unstoppable only till someone matches his physicality, like Rudiger, made City look like they were playibg with 10 men, People often conpare this guy to Ronaldo, but most of them who does it are most 2022 fans, no poacher/ordinary goalscorer can be top 5 in assists, Haaland represents an older Ronaldo, in his mid-late 30s where he became a clinical finisher, he is not the playmaker he was, Haaland's general play is decent, but he will never win a ballon d'or like this, cause he cannot make his own space, own chances, like Ronaldo and Messi did in their past.

Players which take 2 or 3 players to mark already are creating chances indirectly. I don't see these people bashing football superstars when they dont score but are getting marked by 2+ players.

    Haaland at Dortmund was a better player than what he is at city, I think it’s cities play-style that hurts him because they are more possession based while Dortmund and most German teams play counter attacking which benefit him way more. He has elite speed for his size and was able to create more in Dortmund and score from a wider range than what he’s done at city. I think if he went to Madrid instead of Mbappe he’ll be a much better fit, I think he’ll be more like Zalatan than Ronaldo or Messi which is still a phenomenal player

    If Haaland works to be a little more technical, actively creating more chances for himself, just in general upping his play-iq, he will be on the levels that legends are at. Hes already proved he's a mass goalscorer, now i want to see him start to embody a leadership persona. I feel like if city dropped back to a false 9 and forced him to work as a CF, we'd see even better performances
