I submitted the music video for this song for Part 1 of last month’s Halloween series and promised to send a live version, so here are two. The first is from the release concert for Eivør‘s 2012 album “Room,” and features her with a full band and chorus. The second is Eivør performing alone in 2018 Los Angeles with just a guitar and foot pedals. It is also I believe the second video I’ve sent in where I am in the crowd . I am not visible because the Songs From A Room (Sofar) people wanted young well-kempt hipster types up front and I looked like Rasputin in 3/4 length leather and probably a European black metal shirt, my usual uniform at the time. But her sound engineer was a friend of a friend from my transcontinental years, so I’m standing by him in the back. First and only time seeing her here in the States. - Hudba
Eivor is the best! She is so humble and just a joy to meet.
As you guys said, her live shows are incredible. You don't just listen to her
music. You experience it. I've had the pleasure of meeting her and I will never
forget it. She is just a beautiful human.

By the way, one of the backing vocalists in the first video is Elinborg, Eivor's younger sister. She is also a great vocalist and recently released a very good album called Vera.

I had the absolute pleasure and privilege to watch Eivor perform in a church in Cologne, 14 October 2022. It was magical.

she toured North America last summer..did you miss it
and you should listen to "ave maria", recorded in 2009. not the best audio quality, but you can clearly hear her classical singing voice. listening to it you want to celebrate christmas immediately. even in the summer
