Nex Guide (MASS/TEAMS) Money Making OSRS

- Nex is the brand new raid boss added to the God Wars Dungeon as the representative of Zaros. Up to 60 players can fight nex at once on a world, with them having added group instances recently allowing any size teams desired with your friends, as long as at least one of you has the hard combat achievements completed. A given Nex kill taking only the rares into account is about 4.6 mil, with the regular loot being really solid as well with dragon and onyx bolts drops as well as blood essences. If you can get 6 minute 4 man kills, Nex is currently close to 12m gp/hr (assuming 10 kills per hour). This is definitely going to go down in the future, get your Nex kills while the getting is good.

Phew this was awkward to make, been slowly working on it since release but felt wrong to release without knowing her stats! Rapier is king!
I've settled on a slightly different setup for small teams, I bring ZCB with Ruby dragon bolts and ely instead of claws, dropping 2 brews, you have similar survivability with the Ely with tremendously more DPS, I slap Ely on when ranging or when targeted (obviously this is extremely overkill and expensive) i.imgur.com/pZX5QtX.png

To the people saying my gp rate is wrong, yep don't do nex while I grind the crap out of her and make a couple bil, keep those prices nice and high
Havnt watched yet but liked and saved to watch later, dont normally bother but i love your content and think it was your guide i watched to begin sepulchre, seen you chatting alot in nexalted also, gl on the gainz and keep up the good content, im an iron mentally prepping for this grind but supplies are meant to be used and the boss is really fun
im not sure if im ready for this but clan mates want more of us to join so im trying it out soon, just really hope you made it more informational then it needs cause this is a lot to learn haha. hopefully when i actually do it wont be that bad

Does dealing low damage significantly reduce your chances at a unique should one be dropped? Or is it only the mvp that has more of a chance at the unique

I think buckler is not worth it, around 4% dps upgrade for zcb only is meh, spectral seems solid on paper but haven't tested, could probably swap a restore for another brew if taking that

The dps comparison is basically the same with full inq and mace vs a stab rapier setup with torva. There is a .02dps difference with max str with blood fury, torva helm, torva platelegs, and karil's top. Full torva is ill advised as your mage def is 0 and will constantly be cough tank which is annoying.
Edit: .09dps difference. 1.48% difference
I show a 1.5% dps difference between those setups in favor of 2 torva piece rapier?
Not surprised. jamflex wants all of NMs drops to be dead content. Now they just need to powercreep the volatile and its complete

Idk why this has been buggin me, but where in RS does the song playing in the background from 26:20 onward come from? What is the dps of zcb and tbow compared to melee and tbow?

13:25 How did you calculate that acb and dcb respectively beat tbow in masses by 2% and 1% I use the ACB at nex with 99 range, rigor, etc, and it feels terrible :(.
It's purely in the bolt specs, sometimes you get crazy lucky and shred Nex with procs, sometimes you noodle the entire kill
tbow is better in smaller masses. ive tried out 200 kc of each. i got 4x as many mvps with tbow compared to zcb. tbow seems to hit way more often.
i prefer to use zcb as a spec weapon for that 110 proc
in teams up to 6 people id say zcb is best, even tho if u can afford it having both tbow and zcb will usually get u mvp in alot of kills (but thats arguably a far fatch for many players, since it does cost 1.6 bil combined). Tbow is bis for 6+ teams, but with zcb its all about that ruby (e)'s luck, which if u get lucky to proc 5-6 times during the fight youl most likely get mvp, acb doesnt feel that good on her. So to summarize, zcb is about luck, tbow way more consistent.

You're probably taking minion hits when u have mage pray off during darkness phase and also the typeless damage from her specials that go through prayers

Yes
would stalling nex be of any value if it gets you 40 essence trips but sacrifices some dps? In theory you'd get more kills per hour since you spend less time in kc room and more time killing nex
You can't really stall anymore red x is patched and she dashes after 7 ticks, you can abuse it to reset her to mid for some phases though (really good on shadow)

I am just now getting into god wars dungeon on my ironman do you think it's wise to do some nex first since I can make keys from the loot to help me get kc on all the other bosses?? I really hate getting Ecumenical keys in the wilderness... please someone help me out
Would highly reccommend waiting till u have fury and a suffering to do gwd on an iron. And once you do its reslly not worth itto do any of the bosses without a slayer task(except sara and bandos if u have bowfa and full crystal armour)
You can't do nex first. You need to kill every gwd boss to kill nex.
Would you swap the torva full helm for neitiznot faceguard if you can't afford it? What would be downgrade for tbow in teams?
I would bring tassets in that case to reach the max hit, with arma legs switch

Not really, better of using an acb, dcb, zcb or melee at nex even tbow is better than bowfa, as well as the poor defensive bonuses of crystal armour will get you shredded

Armadyl over masori in masses?
This was made before masori came out. Masori is better in every way compared to armadyl. The only instance you use armadyl is if you're an ironman or need like 1 item for god wars protection

Its the least dps of viable options, even acb ruby dragon is a decent bit better
A regular dragon crossbow beats even tbow by a small margin, I think even a rune crossbow beats bowfa

This is extremely similar to the meta in RS2, it requires being able to quickly switch back and forth from melee to ranged, I like the way she turned out tbh

You made multiple mistakes that are only noticable if you are watching the screen at the exact moment your asterisk text pops up... This is less than ideal for someone like me who listens to youtube videos with only audio more often than not
