My husband and I lived in Barrow 2006-2008 and then did a Nursing assignment there in 2018. Love the people and Barrow!

Nice. I've been to Alaska but never up there. Your video makes me want to go. If I ever do, I'll make it a two night visit. Given I'll probably never make it up there again, I might as well spend a bit of extra time so not to miss things. I think I can deal with high food prices for a day. I've been to Iceland for a week, and survived the prices there. :)

I visited Barrow recently and everyone I spoke to from the plane, said it was a bucket list item. I had a great time visiting. In addition to the traditional stuff, we went to the police station and collected a police patch and went to the high school and got some Barrow Whaler t-shirts. If you go, be prepared to spend some money, especially if you rent a car. Loved the grocery store too....ate my meals at the Top of the World hotel, where I stayed.

Man... nice video. Can't wait til next summer (2025). Going on an Alaska cruise and plan to catch the flight to Barrow after getting off the cruise in Anchorage. After watching this video, now I really can't wait. See what u started???? Would have been nice to get some Arctic Ocean views from the air if it wasn't for the fog. Once you read this, do you remember how much the night was at that King Elder Hotel you stayed at?

I just booked my family trip to Barrow in my upcoming Summer Alaskan trip. Will be staying in Top of the World Hotel there. This is a great video 👍. Do you know of ground transportation in Barrow? Are there cabs that do tours?
