LMAO - My handle is in the post from eBay - glad I watched your video beforehand - you really made life hard for yourself - But god loves a trier and you got there in the end. I will remove the hinge first and do the whole job up on the worktop and use a proper torx screwdriver. Glad I watched this tho - Cheers mate.

All went well until I tried to fix the door back on. There is a plate behind it for the screws, which has fallen into the machine. Now need a video on how to take off the front of the machine.

But how can you open the door without the handle?

You have to use a screwdriver or a chisel, locate the broken end of the handle in the door, insert chosen tool, you'll feel it seat, and nudge in toward the drum, door pops right open.

You can use string around the door to pull the latch. It's fiddly but works

ten second job - string or wire around the Right hand side of the door in the gap and pull to the left - Theres loads of videos on here showing how to do it.
