Again a great presentation for new and old coin collectors/numismatists alike. So many ways to collect and learn form monetary history of our country and abroad. Always a pleasure to get that 'ding' on my cell that you have published yet another slice of education/numismatics/funnisms!!! Thank you, Sir!!

Ben: I love silver bars. For those who cannot afford a U.S. Mint Assay bar, try Prospector's Gold and Gems. They still hand-pour bars and will make custom bars for you if you wish. I just got a 7.77 oz bar because I liked the number combination. They make everything from 1oz to 1,000. Their Kilo bars are awesome. And, NO, I do not work for them or have anything to do with them (other than to buy their bars). Thanks again for the video, Ben. I tried to get some of those bars at auction, and the prices were just astronomical. Cheers.

I am a stacker and those are some fine desirable bars... hard to find and that is what makes them so desirable

  • @samsmobilepressurewashing8422

A couple years ago I saw one of those bars sell at auction for $3,300 and was baffled by it. The scarcity and exclusivity of it I imagine is what plays into the cost, I think it is cool to own one of the few government bar out there I haven't seen another until this video and kind of forgot about them, cool stuff

I've seen some of these like 20 years ago or so. It's been a long time since I've seen any, though. Not really my thing so much but they are interesting. Thanks for sharing!

Neat silver piece but not spend 4 thousands $ for 5 oz worth of silver.

Yeah- you’d think so- but I don’t think anyone wants to pour that much silver for a fake - but the 5 oz …
