I love this tutorial. I’m not overly whimsical or sentimental but with your chattiness you make me feel like we’re hanging out. I bet your students love you. I’m curious what age you teach. I feel like it would be middle school. Don’t know why. Anyway, I commented again because it occurred to me to recommend a really funny show. It’s Los Espookys and you can see it on HBO or one of the streaming services that has HBO as premium content (I watch via Hulu). Anyway, Los Espookys is almost entirely in Spanish and it’s very sweet and funny. It’s about a group of friends who have dreams of making horror for a living. Like, they create horror scenarios, not films. You kind of have to see it to get what I mean. It’s not scary. It’s just kind of silly and like I said, very sweet.

I can’t thank you enough, like really, thank you. I have always been intimidated by sewing 🧵 🪡 because my Mom is very good and I didn’t think I could ever make anything and totally guided me all the way through. I just love your personality it’s like you’re talking to a friend - just naturally. Anyways, I have made two dresses with you - 1st, Tres Belle and the 2nd Breezy. The Breezy is my favorite and I will be making more. My hubby loved ii so much he asked to make him a pocket square so we can coordinate for church :) Thank you again my new sewing buddy. Well something went terribly wrong with the sleeves and the material kept getting jammed into my machine BUT I did finish it (albeit sleeveless) and it looks great. First thing I've ever sewn for myself. Thank you so much! You're video was so helpful!

Love these videso! Had a question though. I see a regular sewing machine and a serger, but what is the other one, to your left, that looks like a second serger? I know you used it to top stitch but I was confused why you used that and not your regular sewing machine. ALSO - what brand/model is your sewing machine and serger? I love them! THANKS!
It is a Coverstitch. its just for hemming. its great for knits!

So the part where you say that you're going to explain the stretching between the stars, I can't find anywhere that you explain why that is ? Plz help I'm very confused on how it's all going to lay down properly especially around the neck which just happens to be in this mystery region ! Haha I'm truly very smart, a newby sewist, and I like to think I'll one day be organized and stop being the world's biggest CLUTZZZZ . Lasfly I tend to overthink things and in sewing fabric if you mess up too many times it falls apart so before I ruin another project PLEASE TELL ME ITS EASIER THAN IT SEEMS CUZ IM SEWING AWAY LOL

How did you baste the end on the band with a serger?
I would baste it with my sewing machine first and then use the serger.
I literally said,”So why don’t you marry it then?” I got a good laugh when you said, right after that,”I’m gonna marry it.” Also, I said to my husband, “She’s so frickin’ cute!” And he said,”Oh yeah, she’s gorgeous.” He likes dark-haired, dark-eyes ladies. I’m part Mexican. 💕
