Complicated? Foot stomp, choose your throw. I’d hate to see you try to play Arma 3.
I literally gave up on the first tutorial. I just couldn't get the hang of grappling and was so frustrated that I didn't noticed the stomping or the sound queue
As soon as you land the first move on purpose you Will get sucked in to the game
This video is old, but I should say that holding the (MED) button will cause you to kick out as soon as possible for your current health. You can also intentionally kick out at 2.9 by simply not pressing the (MED) button until the referee's hand moves for the 3 count. Also, it's better to use all 4 directions to escape submissions.

Thank you for pointing out the foot stomp. Couldn’t get into the game at all, the timing is so precise and not knowing what to time for makes it damn near impossible. I was trying to time based on hand movement, but foot movement/stomp is much easier!

A face/heel and crowd pop system would be pretty cool. It would be fun to have a developmental league to build good wrestlers.

Love this game,played Fire Pro Returns on PS2.Just got the ps4 release last night.I submerged myself in Fire Pro mode,downloaded a GBA emulator on my phone just to play Fire Pro Wrestling 2.never played it before and was impressed how similar it plays to the new one.
I have a dumb question, Im new to Fire Pro and am SICK of WWE 2K, All I want it for my champions to be able to carry 2 titles during entrances,do the champions carry the title belts during entrances on Fire Pro? 2 titles? Thanks

whoa! this game is very complex. i have Fire Pro Wrestling X on Super Famicom but i never played it since i don't have a console to make it work yet. I heard this game was really deep but from this vid, it looks very complex. But it looks amazing. Every wrestler looks like they should. I heard there's MMA fighting in here too

I got the two games in the gba and fire pro is too complicated.. you have to be perfect or you won't get far.. plus, the breathing just makes it annoying (they tried this once in SVR and it didn't suit well with the players)..
So glad I found this video. Man I just bought this game and not even 20 minutes of playing I was like man fuck this game why is it so damn difficult to find out how to grapple or even hit light punches smh 🤦♂️ did I just waste $8 on this game lol 😂but I will try again later today if I still don’t get into it at least it was only $8. And I’ll just stick to playing AEW Fight Forever cuz at least they made it like they said they were old school wcw/nwo revenge style. And I love that game. That’s my favorite wrestling game of all time and I will be buying it soon but for now I’ll be playing it on my bros console till I buy the game for mine lol 😂

Learned this years ago when playing on the SNES. I watch their feet to get the timing down. I don't listen; I watch and I'm beast after so many years. Only problem is figuring out what makes an 80% match or 90% match ot whatever.

Hey man, do you have any tips on getting high match ratings for SWA rules matches that only last 10 minutes? I'm trying to get the Mission Master achievement and it's impossible for me to even get a 70% in those types of matches. I was only able to get above 80% when I let my opponent beat me up for a few minutes, but then I don't have enough time to win the match within the 10 minute limit.

But what are the controls like?! Fire Pro on GBA is great, easy to get used to. But I just got fire pro returns on PS3, and it's horrible. I haven't played it loads yet but, from what I've played, I can't win a grapple. Is World easier to get used to and win grapples?

The Fire Pro Instruction Manual needs to be more accessible. The PDF File is fine, but a Website or something similar would be nice.

Tell that to a good Boxing Style Fighter in this Game.
How do you counter or reverse moves?
It's completely automatic, unless it's an MMA mount. In that case, it works the same as a normal grapple, but without the stomp cue.
how do we do corner to centre attacks?
Hold towards the corner and press the (BIG) button.

You can also slide in by pushing weak and medium attack buttons together while pushing toward the ring.

Thanks for this awesome tutorial I'm planning to purchase this for the PS4 then hopefully for the Switch because the Switch game library is garbage I regret buying the console and this game may make me greatful for buying it.

Man, just how bad is Switch that it can't run even this? lol. The PS2 can run FPR and this is pretty close to that with some graphic updates and a few other things. And I was going to get one for my kid. Maybe the Wii instead?

Chances are he pirated the game and can't get content through the Steam workshop.

That's why I don't like fire pro, they make the grappling system too impossible.. you have to be perfect or your opponent can hit a move instead.. plus the having to breathe during a match just gets annoying.. no reason to complicate a wrestling game, its not real life..
