The years pass all too quickly. It doesn’t feel like it was all that long ago I would go to as many of your Taylor workshops as I could and Hayley, Hiedi, and Caleb would be tagging along… and then performing with you. I would often bring friends knowing they’d hear the gospel as well as your gifted playing.
Fantastic years…thanks for remembering.

What a beautiful string along. I also lost a great friend in August, and that first song brought back great memories and tears. We played at nursing homes, wakes. He played "harmonica's". He was one of the best chord harmonica players ever. He has played with the greatest harmonica players and all around the world. What a blessing to run into him at my Mom's assisted living in 2018. We've been together till his passing. I played guitar, and to hear the beautiful chromatic on songs like Till there was you, Yesterday etc, was a real treat. Praise God in all circumstances. Thank You both for today's "Sunday 🎶 String 🎵Along🎸"

Well, I just shed my first tears of 2024. I often called my daughter, Melissa, who passed away December 1st, “My only blue-eyed baby girl,” because she was the only one of my four children who had my blue eyes. 😢
Oh my Lord… I’m so sorry to hear that. I’m sure praying for you my friend. The String Along family is with you and you have wonderful friends and family. May God Be With You Strong Right Now in Jesus name!

Nice to meeting Heidi. I live in Switzerland, not that far away from “Heidiland”. My two loves as a kid were the Western TV shows and Heidi and I have been fortunate enough to live in the USA and in Switzerland even though I am a Brit. What a beautiful Wallace guitar!

A precious service very uplifting. Doyle, you have beautiful children and grandkids. You are very blessed. Doyle, Please keep my sister Brenda Bonsall of Elkton, MD in your prayers. She had a heart attack. She is going to Johns Hopkins on Friday. They are going to try and put stents in her heart. If that doesn't work they will have to do open heart surgery on her. Please pray they don't have to do surgery and that she gets well soon. Thank you for everything. God bless you and your family this year.

With faith and modest love, these divisions can be broken down, but not if you keep chipping away at it. Patience and love for others before ourselves will be the only way to bridge gaps between those we love. Desiring satisfaction for percieved transgressions against ourselves causes only inward fear and emphasises the distance between us, but allowing God to work for you instead of trying to achieve from your own ego, has been the only way these things have become sorted in my life. As I hand out this "advice", I'm reminded to bring it back to myself. I hope things get better for you too. Happy new year.

Doyle, I just recently lost my wife of 34 years. She was a great Christian and I know I'll see her again. Part of my grieving process has been a lot of thinking, remembering and praying while listening to music. That's how I discovered you. I want you to know your music ministry helps heal those that are hurting. I didn't/don't want sympathy - I just wanted to tell you that God is using you in a wonderful way to share Him with others. Hi Doyle, Happy New Year from the UK! So great to see you with another of your daughters today. I loved the slightly chaotic SSA too, it reminds me that sometimes our lives are a little chaotic but God knows the Big picture……the overall picture today was one of blessing given out and received!
I loved the Habakkuk analogy too…….someone once preached about the different skill sets of the heralds (Runners). Some are great initiators (sprinters), others are marathon runners, others are steeplechasers (not scared of obstacles)…….to everyone, whatever YOUR skill set, GO, RUN FOR HIM!!

I understand and I feel I have just lost my nephew that is five years old in Gainesville Florida. It was heartbreaking to watch my sister upset about her grandson, but we gathered together and held hands and prayed that he went to our heavenly father.

What an awesome moment. Yes there is nothing wrong with sleep! It’s called temporary resting in the Lord when hearing your music and strum alongs. It brings me much peace from within sir Doyle. So awesome to see the fruit of your labor as God is so faithful and true according to His word! Thank you so much as I will continue to strive for more in 2024 strumming for the Lord. I will never forget meeting you at a GC event in Bakersfield ca w your amplified Bible and guitar. Truly a blessing way back than and now. God speed as you continue this awesome strum alongs…

Hey doyle love your pickin I wanted 2 come see you when you wS in Chickasha oklahoma I livedown the highway in Duncan oklahoma about 40 miles south I've been playing since ce 1966 and still can't play but I write gospel since the seventies over 200 you ever in Duncan look me down we have jams every week and have fun I'm avietnam veteran agent orange victim 100 percent God bless you brother
