    Excellent demo. You pointed out exactly the points where it hurts. Top of foot, under arch. Much appreciated!

    I had tibialis anterior tendonitis. Stretching up my gluteus, isquiotibials and calves A LOT, got rid of the pain in 1 month. It was caused by long hours of work sitting o a desk and long driving trips for work. Also, building muscle after the pain, helped me a lot.

  • @Jinnysworld
    @Jinnysworld Před 2 lety +2

    Oh my God! For 2 years I've been in literally agony. It starts shortly after I can't walk further and sit down. My toes start paralysing, then my foot paralyses and I can't bear weight on it. If I'm not in bed by then, I'm just stuck where-ever, then over the next few hours the pain cranks up. At it's peak, I can't stay still, I cold sweat, I shiver (even though my foot and leg are really hot), my teeth chatter, I breathe in involuntary pants, can't speak in a full sentance, my face hurts from clenching, and I just have to wait it out, as painkillers don't touch the agony. It lasts 24hrs then fades, until I can bear weight again, and when that happens, at first I can only limp and drag it along... and as the hours slide by, it returns to normal...It happens, if I do more than about 15 minutes of walking. It wipes me out for 2 or 3 days, and for 4 days after, I have intense foot, leg, shin, knee, outer thigh cramps. And it started when one foot started turning in, just as you demonstrated!!!! (now the other is starting to turn in too), but my Dr said there was nothing wrong! I KNOW there is! ... In the 2 years of it getting worse. I've been to Dr's, and Physios, and so on, and nobody EVER identified it as pain from that place! Not once, no matter the lines I pointed out or explained! ..... I'm honestly crying right now, with relief! I now know, what part of my body is malfunctioning! Before I thought I was going mad or something. Now I know this information, maybe I can work out what is actually happening to me, and how to manage it with medical help, because honestly... It's so bad now, it has actually put me in a Mobility Scooter, in such a short space of time, when I used to run Marathons, a few short years ago. Thank you soooooo much for posting and demonstrating, this subject! You have no idea how much you've helped me, in identifying what part of my anatomy, is the problem area! .... THANK YOU!!!!!!

    • @Jinnysworld
      @Jinnysworld Před 2 lety +1

      @@mikemakke9821 Hi Mike. ... I'm literally on the pain rise right now. Sadly, I'm stuck away from bed, so I'm sat in a bad position in my house too. I missed my window of opportunity to move somewhere more appropriate, but there is nothing I can do now. .... Anyway, I saw my GP who got hung up on Raynauds Syndrome as a diagnosis. I know it's not that. She gave me tablets for Raynauds. I'm not taking them. There is not one symptom that fits. ... She also referred me to a N.H.S. Physio (I'm in the UK), who at 1st appt, was really confused but suggested lots of avenues to explore. I left hopeful. ... However, at 2nd appt, I told her about this video, and suddenly it was like shutters coming down. It was 2 days after an attack, and my foot was still stiff. She suggested Plantar Fasciitis (I know it's not that either!). She said she'd refer me to Ortho, and for my foot, she told me to do mobility exercises, and then discharged me. It was like I'd offended her or something! ....... Then Ortho Appt: The guy wouldn't let me speak fully. He told me he didn't know what's wrong, and was fixated on my foot only... and even though it's an issue developing on my left side too, he ignored my left side entirely, and focused on one side...my right foot, no more no less...just the foot!.… He ordered an X-Ray of only one foot.... ordered an MRI on one foot only.... told me I had a muscle hernia on my outside right leg, (pea sized lump on outside of my leg...AFTER I told him it was there!) but that is apparently not an issue. He then squished my knee and told me it felt stable, but I told him, it keeps subluxing (partially dislocating). He told me it didn't feel like it. It's fine. I asked if he would help me up off the floor, I'd kneel down and show him, he refused. He also focused on the fact that one night early in the process, when the pain was so bad, in a moment of desperation, I picked up a knife, and did one small cut on my leg, and stopped when sense regained momentarily from the pain haze, and the realisation that DIY leg removal isn't the best idea. I kinda need the limb! Lol .... Anyway he didn't listen to the reason, but now thinks I'm mentally deranged over it, and added "sometimes we can't find an explanation, or a way to treat it". ... but we'll see what an MRI says. It will take 4 to 6 months to get that done, then wait for an appointment. I was again refused a Back/Spine check, to rule that out, and refused the other leg to be checked. ..... So I'm nowhere near finding an answer, but I refuse to give up searching. .....
      How are you doing? Are your symptoms the same? It would be good to know. If there are 2 of us going through it, then there must be more, and one of those, might just have an answer for us, you see.

      How was the MRI? , I got this pain as well right now on top of my floor and that's connected to what he exactly explained in the video. but I think I overused it (my right leg) by compensating too much while walking as my left foot with gout can't bear too much weight.

    • @soniaharmon7624
      @soniaharmon7624 Před rokem

      @@jbg1575 - MRI was a disaster because the NHS Consultant refused to scan the full lower leg, saying it would be too expensive - he scanned my Ankle only - and just the bad one - so there is no comparison - which showed I have minor wear and tear (I have Palindromic Arthritis) but he was clueless about my form of Arthritis - but blamed that (even though I told him it's completely different) and he refused to listen, or offer any treatment, and sent me back to the GP. Since then my GP stopped me being referred to any other Specialist - and I'm pretty much bedbound for most of the week, but completely unable to access help. It sucks to scream from the rooftops for medical help, only to be shut down from one Doctor's Practice, who have little knowledge about most things medical, it seems. :( I truly hope your GP is more helpful than mine is. I can't even change GPs as I have several rare conditions - that cost a lot of money to treat - and as I'm already registered with a GP, and in the UK, you can't be without a GP - no other GP wants me on their books - and there is no law to say they have to.... so I am stuck with some abusive people, in charge of my life, and I feel utterly powerless, and like I can do nothing but wait until my body ends. Sorry it's not the news you wanted to hear on a Monday morning. :o/

    My case involve that muscle......
    Experience daily discomfort and pain from tibia muscles. I practice 5hours golf 6 days a week....I walk a lot. Only left leg....outside muscle....not like shins.....that seems inside. Why left leg only suffer is because golfswing is all about weight shift....from right leg to left. So left leg endure 50% more tension and stress.

    Im not sure my pain is caused by common reason. I had fusion on L1, L2, L3..... discs....1987.....military injury, compress fractures. The pain seems related to fatigue, much golf practice. Also I suspect nerve block. Innitially my hips gave problems. That ia gone now. Only left leg tibia......outside is sensitive to walking......lie on back and hitting golf balls.
