FIRST V8 G-Wagen EVER! 1993 Puch 500GE w463 Press Car | VLOG

We've had many rare Mercedes delivered in the past year, but this day, in particular, was special. We took delivery of the first-ever G-wagen - the 1993 Puch 500GE w463 - which was 1 of only 3 Puch G-Wagens ever produced. We also took in a very low mileage 560 SEC 6.0 AMG widebody, a custom SGS w126 wagon, and a few other iconic Mercedes-Benz.

I had an W460 Puch 230G convertible from 1979, so this is a much older G-Wagen. ;-) It had a sluggish 90hp carburated 2.3l 4-banger.

I'm on my 7th merc this year already down to 3 now. I'm not selling them anymore. Sold my 560sec, super clean low mileage 77 300d and regretting it. Still got a clean ass 140 and restoring a 190 euro zender factory manual i had to upgrade the engine to a 606 td unfortunately it didnt come with original engine and i figured why not. But bro your cars are insane!!

Correct me if wrong but AMG built V8 G-Wagens since 1979 and the last Puch G had serial nr. 14222 (Puch started using separate 90 numbering in 1982 so they are a few 100s/1000s more from 79-82 which used the MB numbering).

@@jellevr1983 ​ youtube doesn’t like links so I can’t post a source but try to google 1979 Mercedes AMG 280 GE 5.6 Sport. There should be several articles. A good friend of mine used to own a similar 1983 280GE 5.0 which was built for a Middle Eastern. In 2013 the AMG was a part of the Adventskalender at MB Munich Arnulfsstrasse but I can’t find a link. Another interesting V8 W460 project were the two armoured XL cars built in 1985 or 1986 for hotel Ritz Paris. One of them ended in South Africa and it’s belived it was used by late Nelson Mandela. Just try to google Mercedes G Nelson Mandela.
