This really takes me back to my visit to the UAE two months ago! I visited the Arabian teahouse in Al Fahidi and then in Sharjah. It's a chain of restaurants I think but each one has a different character and the food is fantastic. Highly recommended.

Pre 1970. Life was very simple in all of GCC and thats why foods of all GCC are simple yet very healthy at the same time. Even in Saudi I saw the Marj Weins episodes, the local foods were healthy and hearty at the same time
