what’s the best soap to use for decontamination? some cars that i wash still have like very hard stuck on dirt bits/gunk on the lower parts of the car like skirts, lower fenders and bumpers. i do a full decontamination hand wash and clay bar and still get these things that i then have to use tar remover on. just seems like too much work am i using the wrong soap? not thorough enough?
Soap never really removes tar, when I find best is straight after washing as a bare minimum while the car is wet clay bar the bonnet plus lower parts of the car, especially wheel arches and bottom of the wings. everyone makesout all clay bars are the same but they are definitely not. Built hamber is really good although it's a bit hard. Once that's done use a strong tar and glue remover in the shade on all of the lower parts of the car leave it to dwell and then run it around with a clean microfibre with the same spray. I recommend autoglym professional tar and glue remover only available online in a 5 litre can. Then snow foam and rinse again to ensure no chemicals are hanging about in panel gaps. also it might be worth while to use a iron fall out remover as the claybar/tar and glue will rarely remove these particals.
Also if you are wanting to do a strong decontamination wash you need a soap that is a strong degreaser, this PH neutral stuff is only good for clean cars, they won't have the oomph required to clean tough bird poo and other road grime. I'm currently using carchem 1900:1 it's ok good value for money but doesn't really do miracles

and these are like tiny specs you can’t even see with your eyes until the wrap lays over it. especially on dark cars

I don't really go under the side skirt as these areas are too heavily contaminated and will take decades to clean off.
