They won mostly because of superior numbers, and allied help in Land Lease, logistics and opening different fronts. By 1943 Reich's days of glory were over.
I'm a new HoI4 player and my first gameplay is as Lithuania. I am now in exile hoping to regain my freedom. Any advices? I don't really have an idea what I should do besides trying to raise as many divisions as I can in London.
Im not very good because im pretty new too (50h), but I played as Canada once and I didn't have a big army, so I trained my troops in UK and I helped the allies push when they naval invaded Vichy France, so I guess you can try that too while being exiled

Paradoxicly, it was the russian post-summer rains, orr so called rasputica that was mainly fucked their supply carriages and forced them to stop, when ground froze, they could move further, but then came the actall harsh winter and a lot of them froze to death.

once playing as Germany, I lost about 11 divisions invading Denmark, the allies simply redirected all the air and fleet there. I couldn't get it right
