    Always trust a mechanic with a rotor tattooed on his arm :)

    The longer I wait to get my Renesis motor rebuilt the more cool stuff you figure out how to do on your CNC machine!

    If you have any clients who have had their engines done and are running can they up load some Videos of them running .

      probably gonna have my engine milled in the next month or so by these guys, when I'm done putting it together ill post a few vids

    Nice video!, question, when your making the ports wider (towards the rotor housing) at some point the trailing side seal will fall into the intake port, and if you port even further the leading side seal will also drop into the port. Do you allow this to happen on your ports (and chamfer / round off the upper edge of the port to avoid side seal damage) or do you keep the port more conservative to avoid this?

    • @miikaeatsbagels7320
      @miikaeatsbagels7320 Před 4 lety

      I'm pretty sure they keep it more conservative with the renesis engines. Not much room to make the ports larger. At least that's what I've seen from the videos.

    With this porting do you keep the apv or delete it?

    Planning to rebuild my renesis for next summer.. would LOVE to have this Cnc bridge porting done to mine, would like to go forced induction.. is it possible to have lightened and balanced low compression rotors made for the renesis? Sorry if this question has been answered already!! PS, love your videos!

    • @rx7specialties203
      @rx7specialties203  Před 6 lety

      unfortunately renesis engines need to be built with renesis rotors

      RX7 Specialties can we alter the compression ratio of Renesis rotor for turbo application?

    So if I'm not mistaken...
    The new 6 port rx8 template will work with the s3-s5 6 port motors?
    Or is the new template only match on the secondary ports?

    • @rx7specialties203
      @rx7specialties203  Před 6 lety

      Secondary only but we have a CNC program for RX7 6 port pri ports

    What about a 12a 6port ? Have you a cnc program for that ?

    Im interested in power figures particularly on a S5 6-port. This video was posted a while ago, have you had any power figures made available to you since?

    Do you guys have a website or something looking to do this mod to my rx8 when it’s time for a rebuild

    Would my 13b rx8 brap if I do a Bridgeport and port ?

    • @rx7specialties203
      @rx7specialties203  Před 5 lety

      Renesis engines do not respond to bridge porting the same way RX7 engines do due to the RX8 side port exhaust

  • @scottmeyer5900
    @scottmeyer5900 Před 6 lety +2

    Is there plans for a CNC Bridgeport? Or is that unnecessary with the extra high flow ports?

    • @theanimal550
      @theanimal550 Před 6 lety

      Scott Meyer it looks awesome doesnt it .
      I really want to see power figures .

    • @rx7specialties203
      @rx7specialties203  Před 6 lety +1

      We dont make claims on Renesis porting as the engines are very difficult to pull extra power from. We only claim additional maximum gains if the customer will also run a full header exhaust system.

    • @rx7specialties203
      @rx7specialties203  Před 6 lety

      We do not offer bridge porting for Renesis engines. These side port exhaust engines do not respond like RX7 engines do. Bridge porting dramatically reduces manifold vacuum and will just confuse the stock ECU. Its not a port style that can be run without the ability to take control of the ECU

    • @scottmeyer5900
      @scottmeyer5900 Před 6 lety

      RX7 Specialties would this porting option work with a 4bbl carb setup? I'm planning a Renesis build for my 1983 Fb for autocross racing and want something different under the hood.
