Dr Caroline, I love your theories and watch as many as I can. However, you cannot just drop a statement like “they’re diagnosing babies at 6mo old and giving them antipsychotics” without citing your source. I searched and could find only a few scholarly articles regarding infancy psychosis. One study by Dr Reiser conducted in the early 1960s, another in The Journal of Autism and Developmental Disorders titled “Childhood psychosis in the preschool child”.
And another from 2017 in the research section of Jama Psychiatry “Courae of Cognitive Development from Infancy to Early Adulthood in the Psychosis Spectrum” which started testing at 18 months.
I can literally find not one article or study to validate that statement. Will you please take a moment to clarify where you pulled that data from?
