thanks.. .. You might be able to find a screen replacement for your mirror.. If you open it up you can look around for anything that might of came out, the ribbon might of just slipped out of its connector from vibration. worth a look unless its still working as is and your worried about totally messing it up ..
I have a similar rear view mirror dashcam. The screen recently shows distorted black and white horizontal lines/bands. I have tried restarting and even pressed the reset pinhole, but no luck. Any guess if this is a patch cable fix or something much more involved. Wondering if I need to buy a new one
yeah seems bad.. if you tried to unplug the rear camera.. and it still does it.. it could be a cable but doubtful (unless you do move your camera back and forth as well).. If its junk now it worth the time to take a look and remove the ribbon just to see if you get some life on your screen.. The processor might of over heated as well, My adas camera's I had to add little micro fans to them or they glitch out the same way as yours basically ..
Hi yes it would be pretty straight forward to change it.. However the battery is more as a joke in them .. the longest its ever lasted on mine was maybe 1-2 mins . The only thing its good for is holding the time. Just search for lipo battery 3.7 ..and try to find one with close to the same specs and size so it will fit in the unit. If you can't solder just cut one lead of the battery at a time. on the new one if it has a connector and on the unit it self. .For example strip back each red wire, put a Piece of heat shrink over one of the wires. Twist the two wires together . Place the heat shrink over the twisted wires. Heat the heat shrink with lighter ect... Repeat for the next wire. If no heat shrink you could use electrical tape as well . Just make sure its done good.

no i tried once off amazon the unit looked 100 percent the same in the picture but when it came the glass and unit were different .. the screen was the same however the glass was cut different on it so it didn't fit and the mobo was so so slimmed back.. so if your unit is 100 percent same you might have a hard time seeing they changed things up on the next version to save even more money .. Edit.. ugg just read you have a android version .. so not 100 percent the same at all.. what size is your mirror being sold as so i get a hint..later when i look?

Is it possible to replace the internal battery. Mine doesn’t charge anymore
