can you help?
You can try this it worked for me, go to data modeling tab and link one table of the columns to the other table column which is of same Dat type , then try adding it will work
Love this! Thank you for providing the DAX measures for commonly used analysis. Helpful!

Glad it was helpful!
Thank you so much for your effort. The lesson is so clear and easy to understand.
This is purely an exceptional and excellent talent you have in training, Chandoo. I am impressed by the ease of digesting your content. It is above and beyond. I am enjoying doing the hands-on as you walk me through using your datasets. At timestamp 27th minute, I am having a snag case in getting the correct count. I am just getting all these 22s. I have used 3 formulae with the third one getting from someone in the comments but none gives give the correct distinct count. The cardinality in my ERD (let me call it so) of the relationship is "Products" to "Sales" as 1 to Many just like yours. I downloaded the recent Power BI desktop in case it is a difference in versions that may use different formulae to achieve the correct results. I don't know where I am wrong. I tried every one of these DAX formulae.
Count of Products1 = COUNTROWS(products)
Count of Products (right) = DISTINCTCOUNT(sales[Product])
Distinct Products Count = CALCULATE( COUNTROWS(products),sales)
Yeah it's definitely 'Count of Products (right) = DISTINCTCOUNT(sales[Product])', so i wonder if the data in your table has been changed somehow, or if you have selected the wrong measure for your visualization
@@louplay Thanks for the concern. I will check it again.

Hello Chandoo,

This is great Chandoo, Simple and effective way of explaining Bang on😎 Keep Rocking
Nice introduction to power pivot engine. As said the distinct count of product can be found in many ways, the one which do by filtering many sides to one side is
Distinct Products Count = CALCULATE( COUNTROWS(products),sales)
That is a good one Kgas.
The Master of Excel has come to take his place in Powerbi. Did you notice he did all these without the mentioning the complexities of context whatever?
Hi Bro, Thanks for your valuable time and effort for us. Keep rocking it.
You are welcome Praveen. Don't forget to share your knowledge with others by helping a colleague / friend when they need you.
Very well explained with lot of ease and simplicity in demonstration. Hope much more good helpful videos like this even in future.Tq
