I always wondered about how they print these cards! This really is a cool Gutenberg video. Very interesting to see how they do the textured pattern overlay in the process. This is probably one of your best videos Rev because now everyone can save this to know how pokemon cards are made. An Amazing amount of talented people and machines working together to make these for us. ❤

Who would have known that making shiny cardboard was THAT advanced
As a sale rep I went to the The Book of Mormon printing press in Ontario. This looks like The Flinstone compared to that place. The book is printed in 100s of languages and every machine is in a chamber to control the environment. Every worker is in a full suit or dress. They have 50 homes around the printing building where the workers live and work for free.....Things moved so fast they looked liked they were not moving...
The amount of cards that are printed is INSANE

Always loved the Ultra Prism logo. Looks so clean. I've seen this before but I always notice something new with each watch. Since TPCI acquired Millennium, it would be cool if they did an updated version of this vid, complete with updated production numbers.

This is genuinely insane to look at and is VERY eye opening, to think, all we do is rip and tear all that work to just get maybe what we want - but this is so cool to see just how much goes behind making the cards we love and play with day to day

We have a Pokemon card printing facility here in Morrisville, NC. It was actually purchased by Pokemon, from the previous owner, to help boost production of cards.

I was trying to find this video as well since it was taken out. I work in logistics for a juice company so it is amazing to see how much hands on vs machine is being used during production especially for a company that has been doing this for about 25+ years.

The Pokémon Company absolutely needs to do further quality checks on their printing companies, because Obsidian Flames and 151 have some of the worst quality control I’ve seen in a very long time. It is clear the standards are no longer being met as they appear in this video 😢

Wow. I kinda guessed it was something like this, only because I've worked in Amazon before. Their process on certain items are similar. You don't realize what effort is put into a business like that until you see it for yourself. Great video.
Seeing the alignment dots in the sheet design made me twitch 😂 gotta love misscuts. All these expensive machines and they still can't get my cards even remotely centred lol.
