as a russian-speaking player from the very start of the game, i must say this whole thing with faceless ayato was scaring at first, our russian-speaking community had never approached something like this in game before, but me myself was so uninterested in things like this (i have a real life to live, after all), and found out everything about this case after the author confirmed it was all staged and them never expected that it would be so popular oversea. and actually all the work they did is magnificent, like all discriptions and kind of lore they put there so good! for example, ayaka's character description: "my brother... my brother! where's he?! no, no, no... not this, please, not this, i'm begging! i'll revenge on whoever did this..." my sister's words when she found out the solvetion of my murder's mystery, but it was not the end. only just a bit of hope and confidence in herself (would be enough to solve everything to the very end), but the darkness had swallowed her completly..." by the way, i'm a huge fan of you Bran, just watching your vids is enough to make me feel in ease

What I think made the situation more hilarious is the fact that around November 10th leaks about the next version's banners were coming out, and these 3 characters were supposed to run together. And wouldn’t you know it, in 3.3 we had Itto on phase 1 and Ayato and Raiden in phase 2. What is MORE hilarious tho is the fact that DIONA was one of the rate up 4 stars on Ayato’s banner. Someone at Hoyoverse was having the time of their lives I bet.

My favorite version was way different from the original story. It was about how The Shogun launched the vision hunt decree and the arataki gang was causing trouble for them. The Shogun basicly forced Ayato to get rid of them, however, when they attempted it, Itto wasn't with the rest and so only Kuki and the three guys were killed. Once Itto found out, he went into a rage that only Onis experience. Ayato felt horribly guilty and bad for what he had to do and was really depressed. He had to murder his friends afterall. One night, he went for a walk outside and sat down at a cliff. However, Itto found him and, full of rage, pushed him of a cliff. Ayato didn't die from the impact, but broke his legs, rendering him unable to move. Itto knew that and not having enough still, went down to him and murdered Ayato by smashing his head and his face with his spiky bat. Finaly, the Oni rage left him and he returned to his senses. Realizing what he had done and that his closest people are gone becasue he wasn't there forced him to take his own life by jumping down that cliff as well, this fall being fatal to him. Ayaka and Thoma get the news, that obviously causing quite the blow to them. The Shogun is home and what she doesn't expect in the middle of the night are two faceless figures that suddenly apear and take her life as well. Negative energy is sensed at the place of her murder and so they search for an exorcist and someone who can help burry all of their bodies. Hu Tao comes to Inazuma, helps with their funreals and tries to exorcise these malevolent ghosts, but they end up defeating her and killing her as well. There is propably more to this story, but I don't remember the rest. However more faceless characters were involved here and I find the story way more uhh- closer to what could actually go on in Teyvat.
The sentence mentioned in the end of the video, "ඔබ ශාප ලත් සත්වයෙකි" is written in my native language 'Sinhala'. It means "You're a cursed animal". That literally scared me because it appeared out of nowhere in my native language.
As someone who had Ayato since his release. I NEVER had this faceless glitch. And I'm mostly thankful, because- holy crap it's freaky. But on the other hand... I like creepy pastas. So this was fun to follow.

Honestly, if you think about the spots that the entity’s have shown up in, we can start to see a pattern. They are inazuman, and the spots chosen in Mondstadt can align with ones from inazuma. Barbatos statue, statue of the omnipresent god. Venti tree, the grand narukami shrine, Dilucs manor, tenshukaku? Kamisato estate? The graveyard… you get this gist of it. It doesn’t seem random anymore, it seems more…. Thought out.

I remember when i play the genshin first prop hunt event, i see male traveler standing outside the event border area(not a player, because all other player is using other characters and even if that male traveler is player too, that would make the total of player on that world is five), that male traveler is just standing there not moving at all, and after few minutes of the game(I'm already become props on top of the tree, and because of that, my range of view is pretty wide, I'm sometimes check on that male traveler) the male traveler is disappear. I'm pretty sure at that time(props hunt event period), I'm not the only one who get to see that bug, because if i remember correctly, there is player who see non-player female traveler and even other characters standing outside the event border area . Kinda unsettling but pretty interesting bug/glitch.

Dude being so fr, all my friends were in a gc and had genshin, and for some reason the next day after creating it, we all opened our genshins and for some reason we were zoomed into xianling. She has a glitch when you go to a certain place in inazuma that you go to during raidens 2nd story quest. When you walk to that spot, xianlings face zooms in and she looks like faceless ayato/itto. basically, when we logged on, we only had level 32 xianlings equipped with raidens weapon and thundering fury artifact set. The talents were all at 3, and she was con 4. We had no idea what was happening and when we checked the profile, our names were one,two,three,and seven. We had to leave our games on bc our games wouldnt shut off. Keep in mind this was real genshin, not some random server. We still have no idea what happened.
It’s a different file game as in they change the files because a character can’t just move around. You either have to program a code to have them move or you have to model them yourself but basically short story different filed game that they changed
