I don't know if you'll see this comment because of how popular your channel is (and rightly so) but I wanted to share this important thought with you: Covering such well-known songs so accurately is hard. If it were easy, everyone would do it. Usually when a band covers a song, they change it in some way because they don't have the ability to properly reproduce the recording. And while it is admirable to attempt a cover, if you aren't going to do it right, it's probably better to not do it at all. When your channel is at its best, with your top roster of musicians -- like your cover of Heroes -- there is a type of musical alchemy that happens. You didn't add an unnecessary bridge, or change the harmonies, or add some musical component that wasn't needed. You performed the song as Bowie recorded it, crisp and clean with all of it's harmonics and elements. Yes, there is always the lens of HSCC through which it is performed; your voices, voicings and talent are always there. But this kind of cover is special. As fans of these songs, we want to see someone recreate them this accurately. The magic we come to see week after week is your ability to reach for something unobtainable and hold it in your hands for just a few minutes. As a musician, it's wonderful to behold. Thank you.

The song “Heroes”, by iconic British musician David Bowie, is a timeless gem that is part of his eponymous album released in 1977. This track, produced by Bowie and Tony Visconti, was recorded in July and August of that year and released on September 23rd.
The inspiration behind “Heroes” is as fascinating as the song itself. During his Berlin Phase, Bowie lived in the German capital for three years. It was in this artistic and political scenario that he composed and recorded this song. The title refers to a kiss witnessed by Tony Visconti, the producer, between him and his girlfriend near the Berlin Wall. Contrary to the common interpretation of optimism, the essence of the lyrics is marked by a “dark” and “traumatic” tone.

Not sure if it's my imagination but watching Danny it seems as though he is mentally putting himself in the role of whichever singer he is emulating - the result being that he not only sings superbly but takes on all their vocal mannerisms. Maybe I'm reading too much into but regardless - he does an absolutely brilliant job. Well done Danny (and band!).

This band is so tight. I have been listening for a couple of years, and their renditions of everysong is perfect if not better. Now Danny singing this song is so talented as he can impersonate so many artists. Heis an incredible singer, and so are the other singers HSCC uses. This band has become one favourite groups, including the original artist. All the best feom Canada.

There exist some really great cover bands, but none of them cover multiple artists to the degree, and accuracy of The Hindley Street Country Club! This is without a doubt the world's greatest cover band. It doesn't hurt they have latched onto the two greatest decades in music, the 70's, and 80's! Having spent my teen years in the 70's there was a new hit out everyday during that time so they will never run out of music to play for us.👍😎✌🗽
