I thought exactly the same. A small thing - but so many rich people with drivers don’t give a toss about them as people...

@@BobbyFlay14 that’s great to hear. I wish more Americans were that way. Some of us are but many - even the nice ones - would tip, but wouldn’t think of verbally thanking a taxi driver, as they just see it as a service. These England boys seem well brought up young men :)
@@BobbyFlay14 not in London they don't (on buses) but it's not expected so not seen as rude. Everything is just touch the machine with your Oyster card (travel card) and go about your day and this totally normal to me until I left London 🙂

All of them polite with no egos. How is that even possible.
Some if them were probably in the ends so they know what it's like to not have everything and that probably keeps them humble
Tbh if enough of the group is polite the culture will just catch on. I’m sure one or two come in with egos but it probably gets stamped out first because enough of the players are nice. On the flip side if it doesn’t get stamped out then it spreads like a disease, even the normal nice kids feel pressured to act up just to fit in/not be bullied. It’s all about the overall culture
I like the way they all seem to genuinely get on as mates. Not like the old days with all the rivalry ruining the squad.
A bit of rivalry isn’t too bad. But because the players a young I think they are excited to be playing for England
@@nononsense4677 A bit of rivalry is OK, but Rio, Frank Lampard & Gerrard admitted the Man U, Chelsea, Liverpool, etc, Club rivalries during the supposed ‘Golden Generation’ of the England team was damaging & seriously affected their ability to win.

Having a person who can uplift the mood will really help to take away the nervousness of the players during the tournament. Tbf though Jesse really did well since January. I would still prefer JWP over him but I guess both of them have to still sit out of the tournament sadly.

Lampard even said golden generation failed because of their club rivalry - These lads look like they get with each other very well.
@marwin taukechan Spain much like Germany changed their philosophy in way they played. This was based on a common goal which England never had back then. Now, i think we are at the beginning of a new era for England. We don't need to reliey on that one player to win it for us but a collective effort which is the DNA of great teams.

@@rickygervaissaidhi2524 True to a degree, but Ferdinand, Gerrard and Lampard said their England & Club managers never encouraged them to be pals, and that the rivalries were so intense they barely spoke to each other during England training and the hotel meals & spare time, so as not to give anyone an advantage back in the Premiership. Google the Sky interview the three did last year sometime. I never realized how bad it was til I saw that...
