I was looking forward to buying this game especially on console. Since you guys came out AFTER pre orders launched & stated the game will NOT have wheel support on console, I have decided NOT to purchase this game on console. We are in 2024 and wheel support should be available upon release. Especially since you Guys TOLD US there will. Mislead the community. Glad I didn’t pre order. No reason not to have wheel support , especially when you pushed back the release date from Feb to March

Agreed. Especially since they told us that there would be & then waited until after they launched pre orders to tell us this. They really just wanted people to pre order only to drop the bomb on us saying no wheel support 😅

PC apparently will have wheel support. But given the fact they didn’t tell us wheel support wouldn’t be on console until after they launched pre order, I wouldn’t be surprised if they say there’s no wheel support on PC AFTER the game launches

How do you make a "driving simulator" and then launch without wheel support. If your making a driving sim isnt wheel support like the first thing you should prioritize as it would be one of your biggest selling points? It would be like making forza or some other racing game that comes to pc and then saying there isnt controller support. People who play racing games want atleast controller support and people who playing driving sims want to know there is wheel support. If you didnt make your driving simulator with wheel support in mind as a focus for release I have little faith everything else in the game is done right
What’s crazy is they told us in December there would be wheel support but waited until after they launched pre orders to tell us there would not be wheel support for consoles upon launch. And they aren’t even sure if there will be down the line
It’s definitely a selling point. It made me decide not to get the game after I heard about it

im not gona pre order after there train sim has not been updated or dlc for a long time i dont trust these developers until train sim gets some updates its been abandoned

Hi I'm a big fan of simulation games and ive been waiting forever for a good taxi sim hopefully this ticks that box,I am thinking of Pre ordering the supporter edition i was just wondering a couple of things 1: can you get out of the car and walk on foot to look at the points of interest etc. And second are you currently looking at future plans to implement the famous colour scheme of Barcelona taxis black with yellow doors and boot (trunk) or at least adding the ability to paint individual parts customisation ?

It just looks like every other driving simulator out there - no traffic, dull, generic graphics where everything is shiny. etc.

It's not an AAA game, pretty good quality for an AA studio game
AA games should not take any criticism of graphics, since their budget is smaller than triple A studios. EA WRC is an example of a game that should be criticized, it's an unacceptable release from a big studio (codemasters)

Will this run on the steam deck?
We tested Taxi Life internally on the Steam Deck and it works good! We'll probably have some more information on the topic closer to the release date of Taxi Life.

Was very excited for this game, with the level of detail it has. However, it was confirmed this will NOT have TrackIR or Head Tracking support.
For a 2024 driving simulator, that's a huge oversight. There's games that came out 15-20 years ago with the capability. Especially when you have a lot of attention to detail for landmarks, hazards such as pedestrians or needing to see road signs and lights - you're very stuck driving with a wheel to not be able to do this.

@@JasonOPlays it's a TAXI JOB simulator not a driving simulator. Those are 2 different things. riving in this game is arcade same like in need for speed nothing to do with sim.
