    These guys wrote lyrics that was about social commentary with a twist and humour! Yet at the end they never forget the Creator...Respect! This is the difference with some of the younger dance hall artists they lack substance so no longivity in the business just quick cash!

    The 80's and 90's were the golden era in dancehall. Pure skill, talent and love. No sellouts, No thuggish rubbish, no pornography. No guns, no killing, no jealousy, no envy, no disrespect, no hatred. Just having fun. Today's dancehall is really wack compared to back then. Feeling great off the oldies but goodies.

      That's correct, many people in Panamá are descendants from Jamaica 🇯🇲 so we grew up listening Dancehall since early 80's from our Jamaicans breddas.

      Lt. Stitchie, who also is now a Christian performer, did a show on Onstage, that was greatly received and he also performed with Beenie Man, Josey Wales and Bunnie General with King Jammys on BBC Xtra....so I can hope this paves the way for the great Papa San.

    All top notch dancehall artists. Late 80s early 90s. The riddim these guys were on and the way they ride them were the best period in dancehall, 80s, 90s up to 2006, It went down hill after. Big up Johnny P he had some bad hit songs back then. Bike Back and Ital Jockey were big. Flourgon and his Brother Red Dragon run the place for a while too.
