      Thank you. What type of roses are you planting? Roses like full sun so make sure they get 6+ hours a day. Good luck.

      Hi Karlah - They are bearded Iris. Comes in many varieties and colors. You plant the bulbs in Fall for Spring blooms. If you are in SoCal I keep them in filtered light or on the East side of property for morning sun. The bulbs multiply quickly within a couple years so don't start with too many. My neighbor actually gave me bulbs a few years ago and I now have plenty to share. :-)

      Have a simlilar purplr /lavender Iris that is an old variety that blooms 1/yr. Ours smells like root beer (flowers). Great multipier and have given the rhyzomes away.

    Another criteria I think is important to know is the growth of the plant before you put it in the ground. It’s important to know that it’s maximum height and maximum width will fit in the area that you’re planting the plant
