      I did as she said and googled her. She lost her re-election and is in trouble with the Georgia Supreme Court already who are deciding whether to remove her as a judge (to do with other matters) rather than let her see out her term so I'm not sure she was going to be a judge before this anyway but... there are claims that she was defending the other woman in the video who had been attacked by an unidentified male who fled the scene so who knows.
      It's not like you can see anything on the body cam and police grabbing the wrong person never happens...

      @@corleth2868 You can clearly see her put hands on a cop trying to break up a situation, effectively obstructing law enforcement, with what could be classified as battery. That's enough to go to jail. You can also see she spends the next hour lying about that specific cop punching the woman in the face. If anything, they went really light on the charges giving her only a disorderly conduct.

      My understanding is that at this point her removal was recommended but still in process -- for practical purposes, a done deal or at least a foregone conclusion, but not yet formally completed by the GA Supreme Court.
      Of course, there is no possible universe in which *this* could help in that area.

    She is a hot topic in GA. She is a piece of work!! She was removed from the bench two years ago for judicial overreach and ethics issues. That ruling was overturned by Georgia Supreme Court. Then she was in front of the Judicial Panel lead by McBurney, and they sanctioned her on multiple counts for judicial ethics violations and overreach. It was a fascinating watch. I have the links.     Check out Bigen's stream. He posted the full length. Seemed like a good half hour long. She was horrible. Pulled the race card, falsely accused, and even low-key threatened, saying the last person that hurt her died in a month.
    No she wasn't violent, but wore out the, "don't you know who I am? You're gonna lose your job. Call this sheriff I know. You better let me go right now or lose your job, etc, etc..."
    She sounds absolutely delightful and a great role model. Truly, a perfect representative of our legal system.

      @@Peaches.523 She's not. Probate judges make a max of $82K. The governor makes $175K. Supreme Court justices make $182K. Avg pay for a sitting DA is $106K.
      No way a probate judge makes more than those people.
      and it makes no difference whether the charges (they are quite minor) are kicked. She's lost her primary and the SCOG is almost certainly going to boot her off the bench before her term is over since she's been recommended for removal for many other issues.

    Not surprising considering she was found guilty of "systemic incompetence" because "she ignored courthouse rules, abused courthouse personnel, made inappropriate posts on social media and, in repeated cases, failed to do her job." She ended up facing 30 counts of misconduct. Crazy considering she took office in late 2020 and they started hearings in September 2023. She had been busy 😂

      You may want to re- google her name as she is still a judge until her term ends this fall. She already lost in the primary so it's a matter of just time. Also she is under judicial review.     I was in law enforcement for over 30 years and worked with multiple Federal Agencies at different times ( worked with not for ) worked for multiple judges while I was a Drug Court Investigator and part of my states drug task force but I never once thought I was above the law.

    She had already been censored. Then the people voted her our si she was akready headed out. Judge Mcburney was 1 of 3 Judge panel that had hearings the end of 2023. Seeing her testify is very interesting.

    She threatened the police officer that arrested her, she should be in jail. She said the last person who did something like this her unalived 30days later. That’s a threat.
