Can you do a video with the T-34/85
From my very little naval experience is see few things need to be fixed:
1- BR Compression... And especially now with the new stronger ships, it's even worse . Destroyers or Light cruiser have to fight Battleships . They can't even scratch them.
2- Domination mode for top tier... Where little t1 boats decides who wins the Battleships battles. No one wants to play them at top tier. Very often only one team have a boat who will cap all the points before the enemy can even leave the spawn, and the battle is over. Annoying as hell.
3- Close spawns with direct line of sight to the enemy side(as I showed in the video). Where the battles is over before even started. s
These 3 issues I see with naval battles right now. Anyone agree or disagree?
Also:
4- They put the most wanted naval ships behind a huge grind which will make a lot of people not even try to get them.
5- WWI battleships with little to no AA guns are facing late WWII bombers.
1- br 1.0 to 4.7 seems ok, after that everybody id an RP pinjiata for the 6.0 ships
2- removing PTs from high tier naval is not a solution, the same can be acomplished by a pete or kingfisher (or a BV 238 if you are mad enough to Land that on a battlefield) rather than removing the boats, rework the gamemofe
3- spawns should be protected by island Cover and (like ports in naval EC) by torpedo nets preventing torpedo Spam into them. Coastal forts/artillery or AI ships/ PT boat swarms could defend them against someone who feels like entering the defended area. However a 10km spawn is both close and far at the same time: a battleship will laughe at that distance an early or mid tier destroyer with a medicore captain will struggle to shoot anybody
I think it should be like air RB with only 4 bombers allowed, only with BBs. I prefer playing Destroyers anyway, and can often kill CLs with my 5in guns. Leave the heavier targets to bigger ships. Torpedoes have a terrible hit rate. Been killed more by a stray torp more than one actually aimed at me.
Edit: I have a 4/1 KD with my Fletcher class ~170kills to only ~40deaths.
Also remove mixed battles.

It actually means something like "accomplished" what doesn't really makes sense in this context imo. The Commander should say something like "Ziel ausgeschaltet" which translates to "target destroyed".

@@d1ecee197 actually it makes sense since you can translate it do "I/We did it" in germany you sometimes just shorten the "Wir haben es geschafft" (we did it) to "geschafft" (did it)

the game has many faults but goddamn does it look cinematic at times especially when dollar is editing. some of those plane shots were beautiful i wish i could edit that well

Edit: oh man Dollar, seing your dammage controll is painfull, here, have a pro tipp: you get massive pennalties for multiple repairs, unless you skill into dammage controll you fix them separate in the following order (*more important*>*less important*): heavy flooding > fire > light flooding > General repairs > minor floogings (aka 'it takes 5 minutes to reduce your boyancy by 1%, if no important repairs/Fires are there you can put it to the top to get that out of the way instantly)
The thin
The key is to prioritize: what can wait, what is an immediate threat to my existance? Single repairs done in a row last Overall shorter than doing it all at the same time (an aced Crew gets a multiple repairs modifier of x1.0, compared to the normal modfier of somethink like x0.5, meaning no penalty st all)
Actually I found out about it recently... But I haven't implemented it in practice yet lol I'm just always panic-pressing all the buttons when s**t goes wrong

@@DOLLARplays oh, and in the beginning of the Video you where solely setting your range by updateing it with X.
However shooting at the displayed range will lead to your shells falling short or overshooting scince the shells keep the momentum of your ship and the sheer flight time of them. A closing in enemy migjht be allready 200 meters closer than when you fired at him, making your shells obershoot by said 200m. Rule of thumb: if either you or the enemy or both of ypu close the gap between you, am ~200 to 400 meters short, long if you increase the gap between you
Also its OK if you panic what matters is that you calm down after the Initial shock. Keeping calm and having a strategy that is adaptable,but that you stay with no matter what results quite often in defeating superior enemy forces in naval (recently i was immobized and had my front turret knocked out with no Crew to fix it, but the flank coudnt fall or we would loose instantly. So i turned my kiyoashimos Stern to them. Reducing my hittable area drastically and eventually gunning down two undammaged mid tier destroyers in basically a floating wreck)
@@ghostarmy1106 in the beginning my mouse wheel was set on default. I noticed it just in the next battle.
And I use both. I always like to reset the distance before shooting and then I adjust(with the mouse wheel) according how the enemy moves ;)

For the love of all naval STOP REPAIRING EVERYTHING AT ONCE. That is how you die faster. First repair breach, then fire, then fix everything else.
