Thereâs a closely related topic to this. Pricing assets in a certain denomination. The petrodollar is an example. When assets are generally priced in BTC that will be a counterpart to a tokenized economy and technically this is different than capitalism

What if I want to get out of stocks or crypto and take the proceeds and buy collectibles such as old us currency or 1880s rare firearms? I suppose thatâs more of a tax question just curious if those types of assets have been tokenized that youâre aware of? Currency is graded and given a value recognized as well as firearms and seems like a beautiful work of art could be tokenized.

RWA has a fundamental flaw. The asset it backs moves so slowly. A house. A pokeman card. The fees they want should make it unattractive as the revenue from trading fees will be too low.

Can I ask? If assets become tokenized, would they not be subject to manipulation like all other tokens? IE Bitcoin prices are controlled by whales and hedge funds. So if blackrock has millions of houses, they could manipulate the prices of housing ?

Cambodia's the whole banking & "phone wallets" are all on a NBC controlled blockchain allowing free & instant payment between people even using different banks... I think most ASEAN countries have similar solution, Khmer chain gets interconnected with Thai chain... CBDC using national currency as unit is a reality here. Cambodia's cadastre / land register is as well on a blockchain...

Blockchains CANNOT track physical assets without a 3rd party. Chains can only track what they are made of. Just use a database. Example: Bitcoin cannot track gold. It is impossible.
Even she says âthe blockchainâ when there are thousands of centralized blockchains supposedly securing the tokens. So much room for fraud. You invest into one and next week you have a new and supposedly better one.
