- In this video, I am covering my 2 day trip around the Uyuni Salt Desert in Bolivia! It was an absolutely unique experience and I highly recommend adding it to your South America travel itinerary!
I am also covering the Incahuasi Island in the middle of salt flats, Licancabur Volcano on the Bolivia and Chile border, and lagoons we visited in the Fauna Andina National Reserve.

Yeah you needed a flag from Latvia . . . If I would have known , I would have recommended going to Gamarra in Lima. The textile center in Latin America. They could have made a Latvia Flag , fast and cheap
ouhh thats is a good idea!!! 😊
What time of the year did you visit it? Looks amazing!
It was around May. Yes an incredible trip! Truly a must when in Bolivia 😊
Wow . . . Cañapa has a lot of similarities with Laguna Parinacochas . . .
😊😊😊
PS. Where did you bought that beautiful poncho? Love it so much!
Thank you 😊 I got it together with the hat in Cusco. Cusco has the best stuff shopping wise!

Wonderful video. Can you please advice which travel group you went with?
Thank you so much! I wouldn't recommend the one I used. I would advise to just get a night bus to Uyuni, You will arrive at 6 or 7 in the morning and once you are there pick an agency you like and that offers all you need. There will be people in the bus station offering same day tours. Make sure you get an English speaking guide (if you need that, if you do not speak Spanish). I hope this helps :)
@@AlikiTravelBlog being an adult solo female traveller just want to secure myself. Thank you so much for your response. Honestly I am planning my whole trip based on your such a professional videos. They are excellent. 👌
@@preetikhanna2378 Aww thank you so so much! This means the world to me to hear this!! 🥰 Yes totally I understand, are you planning to book in Bolivia with a tour agency or online?
What month did you visit Uyuni?
May i ask which months your trip in Bolivia? I m going in October to have an idea of climate, thanks
I went in June! 😉
What was the temperature there?
uh very cold! During day in the sun it was ok, around 10 degrees but during night it went under 0! Apparently coldest it can get there during night is -20!
What tour companies did you use? Are there any you recommend?

@@AlikiTravelBlog which one did you use?
@@Xez1919 I do not recommend mine 😉 I recommend as per my comment above 😊
@@AlikiTravelBlog understand, but we want to avoid yours that's why we are asking...
@@Xez1919 I see. I really do not remember because it was one in the downtown between 5 other agencies. The agency wasn't bad, just I wouldn't recommend it, because the woman selling us the tour clearly could see that I do not speak Spanish very well, and at no point, she mentioned that the tour will be in Spanish. I felt tricked and disappointed about that...but you could say it was my own mistake for not double-checking that! Also, once we arrived I realized we could have done this ourselves and got cheaper tours on the spot...that is why I recommend what I do because if I would go again that is what I would do, go with the night bus myself and sort out the tour in the morning on the spot with the guide I like that speaks English and cheaper!
Hi, which month did you go there?
I went in June 😉
@@AlikiTravelBlog Thank you.
What was the price for this trip?
Uhh I can't remember now the exact price but it was around $90. 😉
