We passed through Palm Springs to visit Joshua tree national Park with all his beauty lots of cactus, trees ,rocks. It was a hot day, absolutely stunning view from on top of the rocks. We hiked a couple hours through the park and ended up spending a few hours in beautiful Palm Springs.

Love this tour especially the Joshua Tree National Park. I am a diehard U2 fan since 1984 and remember when The Joshua Tree Album came out, won them a Grammy for album of the year. Glad you made it safely back to your car, the heat out there is a killer. Love Marilyn Monroe statues in Palm Springs, she is an icon!!!!!Looking forward to another video!!!!😊💕

I used to visit Joshua Tree when I lived in LA Really love the Old West scenery
Thanks for the desert visit, love Joshua trees & ocotillo country! 2 rules from my desert raised parents for desert hiking: always carry a light but strong stick with you to knock off any cactus bits that grab hold, and when climbing rocks look down every crevice & use the stick to move wobbly stacks plus never put your hand up above your head & grab hold unless you have looked up there first - snakes are real, blend in well, don’t always make a rattle, and will strike at scary thing like hands coming into their space. Just in case you brave a desert ramble again.

I love the Yucca Valley area and Joshua Tree. We go for weekends all the time from L.A.. The weather is a factor but with A/C it's a great place to live if your tired of big city life.
Great to see Tommy enjoying his vacation, and Gogo fully recovered from his operation. If you're still in Palm Springs, maybe visit the cul de sac street where they filmed "Don't Worry Darling". Remember kids : if you're in a desert, always bring lots of water with you when you go hiking.

California has some of the most beautiful wild places on earth and i have traveled the world a few times. . While you're east you should continue to las vegas and find out why hollywood is moving there. oh, although it's too late for you i always use berdoo canyon rd off dillion to enter joshua tree you must have a real 4x4 with good clearance and be aware of flash floods near the beginning but its a free entrance and brings you directly into the center and less crowded area and a magnificent place for star watching at night. cheers from less occupied territory.

Man you gotta wear boots and long pants out there. Where you were walking, you could have easily found a rattler under there. I grew up in Hesperia. We played in the desert all the time.

Great to see that Stargazing sign. It's very clear out there, no city lights, great place to see the stars. Especially if you go out at the new moon. There are a bunch of astronomy freaks that set up a whole bunch of telescopes in a big circle, dozens of them, all focused on something different in the sky, and you can wander around tripping out. Extremely cool.

Ive only been to California once...in the mid 90s..had.a 4 hour layover in San Francisco..took a cab and told the guy..show me some of the city..guy was so cooll..we drove around for over 2 hours...GIV..thanks for showing not just the sights..but for showing the ordinary everyday things..So Cool buddy. ✌️

RUN FORREST MIKE RUN... very nice video. I was at Joshua Tree Oct 2022. My German cousin's son, Jan, was visiting. He wanted to go to Joshua Tree Park. He Loved it and he got many good photos. Also, I had to Take him to the OKOTOBER FEST IN BIG BEAR. It's not Munich but he Loved it as well. Always good to see your adventures 😍😘

I went to Joshua tree with my husband once. I didn’t go far from the road because if you do, everything looks the same around you, and you could very easily get lost. It is very hot in Joshua tree, so they tell you to take plenty of water. I enjoyed going to Joshua tree.

I live in Joshua tree born and raised, this place has turned into hipster paradise, bought my house here in 2008 for 60,000 my mortgage is 500 a month thats why I still live here 😅

I frequently work at the Yucca Valley Rite Aid that is next door to that Aldi. Aldi just opened there this past year. I recognize that Interstate 10 sign on Indian Canyon in Palm Springs. That corner is a filming location for the 1963 movie, "It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World."

Nice start of the video. Drove from Vancouver to vernon California with cut flowers to Holland flower market. Then 36 hour reset, loaded empty flower carts back to Vancouver again. Drove the same highway 😆
