I had this actually happen to me at the lake a couple years ago my son was playing with this boy all day it was getting late so I told my son he had to get out of the water cuz it was time to go home and there is a guy that was watching this kid the day and I thought it was his dad, nope he was just waiting for us to leave then the guy was trying to get him out of water to leave and I could see the look on this kid's face I don't know maybe because I'm a mom so I knew exactly what was happening so I went down and talked to him and the guy was saying that he was his uncle and that he didn't recognize him because he hasn't seen him in a long time but you could totally tell this guy was lying so I brought the kid to picnic table with my son and let them eat and didn't let the guy know that I had called the cops and when the cops got there the guy tried to run and come to find out that he was a sex offender and when I found that out my heart just sunk into my stomach but I thank God that I was there to save this little boy

I was 100% sure I was going to get questioned about trafficking this child and was fully prepared to bust out my phone to prove she was mine.

I rang the police, who were right next door which was great. They walked over and arrested him (after they searched their friend's/his car). She walked up to the counter and lost it at me. I told her she doesn't deserve to be treated that way and he deserved it. She told me I ruined everything. I was so angry and basically told her she'll end up dead and it won't be anyone's problem but her own. I do understand it would have been scary for her, but for gods sake, have done fkn appreciation.
