What do you have against defib and heal beam? I enjoy watching your playstyle and it’s fun from time to time to play but on twitch you advertise yourself as the fastest medium no heal beam no defib. So is it just not as fun for you or is it something else?
Oh no it's just not fun to use unless you love medic medium. Like to those who love the medic class in games, I'm sure it's a great time and highkey I'm glad they're enjoying the class. The issue becomes where you have a meta, like we have had for 2 full seasons, where only MHH is accepted where medium is exclusively medic build. And not to mention, but I think defib, specifically without the heal beam, is just not as good as full kill utility. I advertise that way because I'm doing an "unconventional" build that, in the minds of the majority of the community, shouldn't work within the current meta. And not only is it unconventional and something that is viewed as, not as good, but I even soloed to D1 (rank 256 at the time) with my solo only account. What makes this feat greater, imo, is that this medium build functions like a light, abusing movement and map traversal better than light. I'd like to think I'm challenging how people play medium and the game, with a more movement-centric methodology. More of a "you don't need the meta if you're good enough" take for people to see, because imo nobody should feel cornered to play a certain way in order to have fun AND rank up.
@@SanguineNightsTV yeah that’s fair. I just really enjoy heal beam and being a medic. I also agree with you that defib is really not that good without heal beam as the passive health regen takes wayyyy too long. The amount of times some kid running turret defibs me mid fight just for me to get one shot cause I’m stuck at half hp in the middle of an on going team fight with no heals is crazy
I will be sure to keep up the community days! I'll probably do every couple of weeks. I don't plan to perma stream on YT as I would like to diversify + youtube doesn't seem to allow the splitting of study tracks, so I'll never be able to keep vods up sadly, unless I circumvent no music into the stream.
Later in this series I use it less, not for any particular reason, I was just feeling the 1887 as I climbed up later and later. Though on my alt, on my streams I've climbed up to D2 with revolver and FAMAS only. 😁
Avrege randoms. I am surprised you didn't lose it. This game tought me how to not care, it seems that that happened to you to :) Cant wait for your next community stream. Maybe you can put it a bit earlier so that your eastern EU viewers can join too... (an hour or two would work)
Also, I definitely was internally losing it. 😂 But I also understand that if you solo queue, you have to be willing to hard carry. Also, as far as the timing for the community streams, I will see what I can do! 😁 Maybe start at 11 and go to 7pm EST.
