The lack of vocations and the numbers of people leaving the Church is due to a lack of trust in the bishops and clergy who are more interested in promoting the Lgbt.... agenda than preaching the Gospel in all its integrity. Jesus didn't found a lay-led Church.

Return to Tradition and don't comply with modernism. We are fed up with ladies at the altar, priests as social workers, silent bishops, speedy Holy Masses, sermons about nothing, Holy Communion on hand or exuberant funeral Masses
The proposal to take up the cross should be 'masculinising' - the sign of salvation, escape from the matrix and false ideologies. Preach the cross and you can't go wrong. Too many cushions have been put under too many elbows.
Yes! Currently iin serious discernment in regards to returning Home to save the faith...which is the root of Ireland.

What would help in the re-evangelising of Ireland would be if the bishops would man up more
Most of those guys are homosexuals and far left activists...I think. I walked out of a church a few years ago, when one prick decided to lecture us on being pro islamist migration. This is extremely dangerous, and we'll see the bitter fruits of these policies soon. They seem to bring the extremists here

At 80years old I remember when over 90 percent in Ireland practised religion but it was not for love of G o d it was the fear of hell which motivated them long time now since I heard any priest talk about the devil do they even believe in him any more
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom...
I think that religious awareness is fostered in silence, of which we have very little these days. I think that if all the gadgets' people rely on to "amuse' themselves were turned off for an hour each night, the churches would be full. Unfortunately, it takes the discipline of people to actually turn of the noise and just sit and think. It's much easier to sit and let the tv or computer do our thinking for us.
The underground Catholic Traditional Latin mass is very well attended, these mass,s have very well trained Priests .

The speed of decline of Ireland is unprecedented, even by European standards.
Some of the comments regarding the lone ranger evangelist were interesting and getting back to the foundational practices of the Church...regarding the approach to evangelism, a more flexible and experimental approach needs to be taken. The Gospels, Acts of Apostles and the letters of St Paul give us a good template to work on...Small groups getting together in parishes to pray extempore for an outpouring of God's Spirit for the power to evangelise and for personal holiness...The apostle tells us in 2Timothy, in regards to end times that people will have "the outward appearance of religion but will have rejected the inner power of it." Without the power behind the word's of the gospel there is no convincing people. And in 1Corinthians 2:4, the apostle did not "convince by philosophical argument, but to demonstrate the convincing power of the Spirit "... Perhaps something like the charismatic renewal could be a partial answer to the problem...

Could I define Evangelism..Declaring the gospel to the unregenerate...To the nations..Matt 28.19,20. Open the bible..and be an evangelist..rather than talking about films..and the arts. Haven't heard the name of Jesus..yet..?!!!
Read and believe in the Word of God, the Bible. To be honest neither of these men give me any confidence in the clergy
In fairness, the RC church has by and large had it's day at dominating the religious landscape in Southern Ireland. Maybe it's time for someone else to have a turn?
